New deals on the table...

cantbeatus,

You raise an interesting point about finishing 3rd and 5th in the SPL being considered a huge success for Dundee Utd. I don't dispute that... but Barry Robson, since leaving Dundee Utd has little to show for his career. Those that have stayed with ICT for many years have won Bells Cup winners medals, and First Division Champions medals... and then there is the small matter of two Scottish Cup Semi-Final appearances thrown in for good measure whilst we were still an unknown First Division club.

When it comes to the end of your career, would you rather be talking about finishing 3rd in the SPL or showing off your shiny First Division winners medal along with all the newspaper cuttings that went along with it?

CaleyD 10lb of roasted parsnips to you if you just ban the irritating wee cnut :005:

As tempting as the offer of Parsnips is, if irritating was a pre-cursor for being banned then we'd not have too many people left on the fourms - you and me included :015:

Aren't you two orange lads forgetting the terrible Inverness curse which lays it's fickle finger of fate frequently on uppity players (and Managers) who leave in circumstances unbecoming to ICT , especially after we have given them their real start and provided the stage for their talents to flourish.

Playing with a new team of spiritless players will , by itself, hasten their demise let alone cope with the curse.

Begone you two tangerine tuppers , lick your wounds elsewhere. :002:

To make you all aware, the Caley 5 are having their 2 year extensions handed to them today with an increased basic wage. ICT have re-structured their pay scheme to keep a hold of all 5 players (what effect will this have on team morale?).

If all 5 dont sign, Proctor and Black will go for nominal fee. You will try to keep Dods but let him go if he is adament. You will fight tooth and nail to keep Brown and Dargo and risk losing them for nowt next season. FWIW I think you will keep Brown and Dargo now, there are other players out there for less money we could bring in should you try to play hard ball.

If there is no press release today regarding the signing of extensions, they have refused them.

Interesting times fellow football fans.

Considering a couple of the mentioned players are on holiday' date=' and unless they've come back specially to sign

Any why not? The future of ICT is more important than swanning about in Dundee looking at houses!

So, Benchy, are we going to get our place in the Intertoto Cup and, if not, where are we going on our pre-season tour?

And, tell me, what do our other players think about the likes of Dargo etc being offered terms outwith our current pay structure?

Clearly he knows all... so we may as well just ask him all we need to know about ICT. :006:

According the Dundee Evening Rag Brewster has changed his mind and has asked Fernandez, McIntyre, Ritchie and McInnes to stay with the club and has even offered them one year extensions to their contracts.

And it was about time one of the Arabs hit us with the awaited history lesson. Old gits. :015: :015: :015: :015: :015:

Well if that's true it will be for one of two reasons : Either they've got no money, or they're skint...!!!
