  1. Also if everybody is interested, we're looking a regular voice of the Caley Thistle supporters. We'd give you a call after the game and get your thoughts on the performance, result home and away. PM me if you'd be keen to get involved

  2. Shameless plug alert! MFR have secured another season of rights to broadcast live commentary on all 38 Caley Thistle matches home and away and start this afternoon at Fir Park.

Last season we dipped our toes in the water, but this we're back with even more coverage of ICT with former captain Mike Noble in the commentary box today and like last year we'll also hope to Charlie Christie and Barry Wilson involved again. We've also extended the show time to 6pm so without fail you'll hear Terry's and a players post match thoughts and we aim to get the fans involved this season as well!

All starts at 2pm on MFR 2 1107AM, DAB Digital radio and http://radioplayertwo.mfr.co.uk/

  3. 1 - Partick Thistle 0-1 Inverness CT - A big result which saw us go top

2 - Inverness CT 4-3 Raith Rovers - Richie Foran's goal one of the highlights of the campaign

3 - Inverness CT 3-0 Ross County - First match since going top

4 - Partick Thistle 2-1 Inverness CT - The defeat that sparked the wonderful unbeaten run

5 - Raith Rovers 1-0 Dundee - The one that clinched the league

  4. Yeah MFR are home and away with updates on Moray Firth Radio 1107am every Saturday from 2pm, there's a link to listen online on the matchday threads.

Mid-week games we do team news, HT, FT and goal flashes on every evening show on FM, not as sharp as Open All Mics but you'll always here about your team and post match chat with Terry

  5. Away from the on the park, noticed in the Hamilton programme, we came 11th in the SPL programme table with Hibs bottom and Dundee United top.

And it's no surprise because it's rank rotten.....was quite a good read last year but this year has gone down hill. I understand the club has cut back and produced a smaller version to cuts cost....however still it's poor quality.

Surely we can produce something better next season? Any ideas on how to improve it?

  6. at the risk of being completely off-topic, i've never liked the man. He slagged us off as soon as he jumped ship to Hearts, stole denzil from us and failed miserably.

I believe it was Craig Levein who signed Wyness on a pre-contract

  7. To be honest, I felt we were really unlucky today!

First half both sides were nervous and didn't want to make the first mistake. They didn't really trouble us and likewise down the other end.

Second half there was only one team willing to play in difficult conditions.

The difference was the penalty which cannot be helped, these things happen when your bottom of the table and things aren't going your way.

But one aspect annoyed me and maybe it's been covered already. Andy Barrowman can't play in a 4-5-1 nor can Adam Rooney. Garry Wood can that's why we responded in the second half.

Also what's with the fifteen minute cameo role for Adam Rooney. Russell Duncan went off on the hour, why didn't Adam come on then and go..........wait for it...........4-4-2 for the final half hour and put Hamilton under even more pressure.

Their keeper looked so fragile today, I was dissapointed we only really tested him in the final third of the game.....

  8. On the park, Brewster has mad some poor decisions and tinkered with his side too much in my opinion. Take Saturday for example. If he was going to play a 4-5-1 stick with Wood instead of Barrowman. Nil-nil at the break, I would've liked to have us go for it in the second half and introduce a second striker alot earlier.

If and it's looking more likely, Brew may get the heave ho! I believe Grassa will have to make one of his most inportant decisions as DOF, in selecting Brew's successor.

But yes the board can shoulder some of the blame. I think Savage was a breathe of fresh air and the rest of the directors were frightened with his ideas.

  9. Ever had deja vu? Wow, it's like I've had that feeling before.

Anyway, new hungry manager with a bit of presence and a student of the game a la Steven Pressley or Christian Dailly with an old head as an assistant. Maybe Pressley could get Archie Knox? Otherwise, people like Jim Duffy, John McCormick or so, that have been used to being an assistant.

Great shout with Duffy! Albeit didn't have the best of times at Easter Road, but was good for Dundee and worked well with a limited budget. Also has lots of contacts down south after spending time with Chelsea.

I think if there is going to be a managerial change this season, Barry Wilson will be involved in a coaching capacity in the new team.

However I think Robbo is already waiting in the wings, well he's at nearly every home game now. Interesting!

  10. Traynor was making the point it's Brewster's turn to in the sack race, with Calderwood, Hughes and Levein already faced similar stick.

However how often has he seen us this season? Twice maybe! Brewster is facing the punt if he can't turn things around sharpish.

Can we afford to go on another run like we did earlier in the year, when we had to rely on Gretna for a first win in eleven?

  11. I thought we were really unlucky today! Totally dominated the first half and should've been two up at least. Second half started fine and Rooney took goal well. But we don't know how to kill these kind of games and in turn start to defend deeper, like today

However after the equaliser, Barry and Barrowman would have been my preferred subs, not Roy and Vigurs going back to a 4-5-1. Barrowman only got five minutes, how do you expect impact in such a short space of time. Naviety on behalf of Mr Brewster.
