  1. Sorry guys but this is exactly why rumours should not be posted. Everyone gets into a slagging match - already we have someone saying let him go if he doesnt want to be here ! Did Adam actually say he doesnt ? I dont think so ! He is a professional footballer who came from Stoke City ( suppose to be on a loan deal first but neither Stock or Caley could agree with that. He signed on a 3 year deal ( dropping down in wages may I add ) to come to Inverness. He has Im told bought a house and settled in Inverness for the past 2 years so I cant see where Adam has not shown commitment to Inverness or football. Footballers are like any other person in a career - you have to look at the bigger picture - where to do want to go in your career ? how much will you be paid ? the only real difference is there's is a very short career and the lucky one's make big money. Adam is still a contract with Inverness and if he and the club can agree on terms that suit both Im sure he will.

So lets get behind all the players and club and give them our support - roll on Saturday.

  2. In the league this season Rooney has scored once every 164 minutes. If Rooney played 90 minutes of every game and scored at that same goal/minute rate he'd score 19 goals a season. However, that's a bit of a false statistic because he has only started two games - the small sample size is skewing the figures. For example, Derek Holmes is leading goalscorer in the First Division but if you take his goal/minute ratio then it's much the same as Rooney's. this is only because Holmes has played the full 90 minutes most weeks.

I did the stats on the forwards for this season and they are as follows:

    Richie Foran : Starts (16 ) 7 goals in 1332 mins thats a goal every 190 mins

Danny Sanchez Starts (12) 5 goals in 1050 mins thats a goal every 210 mins

Dougie Imrie Starts (5) 2 goals in 399 mins thats a goal every 199 mins

    Adam Rooney Starts ( 4 ) 4 goals in 559 mins thats a goal every 139 mins

Andy Barrowman Starts (2) 1 goal in 187 mins thats a goal every 187 mins

  3. What do Rooney's fans see in him?

They see last season's top goal scorer and he also reacts to chants etc. Good with the fans :P

Thats hilarious!! Think he scored 6 last season. Thats a big total to be proud off eh?!!!

Considering the amount of start etc yea he still ended up the top scorer. He needs to get the manager to have a bit of confidence in him and he will do good. If you look at his history he is the most experience player along with Foran . He has played with Stoke City , played in League 1 and League 2 and have international experience from under 17 - 21 . You just dont become a bad player overnight - i think himself and Foran would be good up front together. Richie if the type of player that likes to drift but Rooney will get into the box .

  4. I was at the match on Saturday - the only way Caley is going to have a good go and stay in 3rd to 4th position ( which i think they are capable of) is to play with 2 forwards on - wheather that means

Barrowman playing the lone stricker and Rooney playing in the hole or the other way around I dont know - but after watching yesterdays match and the way we play the 4-5-1 role the best midfielder we have Blackie is not able to do what he does best - he needs to be the one controling that area - he strives on getting on the ball but with the 5 across the middle he does not seem to have the room he needs to get on the ball - and another thing is why does Brewster wait until we go down 2 nil to put on Rooney - last week he did the same thing - I think Rooney is good in the box area he seems to get on to almost anything coming into the area -Rooney is a good footballer he knows where to be and you can see some of the runs he makes but does'nt get the ball it must be very frustrating for the forward's - the wingers need to put the ball in the box much more - our team need to be quicker to react to free's and throw in's etc - when they put the ball on the ground and pass it we were just as good as Celtic
