The turning point in the season came when proctor was introduced back into the central defence after injury and two commanding performances saw two clean sheets against Hearts and St Mirren (The only clean sheets of the season). These two teams were in good form at the time. He's played a pivitol role this season as usual, most of the fans appreciate him, its just a few on this forum that don't. He has always bailed the team out, just as he did when he was introduced back into the team, along with duncan and rooney in the first division (he scored that day against raith rovers as well) and the team went on the unbeaten run and won the title.

Jones looked good when he came on, Morrison was excellent in Dundee United Reserve game, Winnall could also play behind McKay, he had a great finish against united and looks very tidy on the ball. Claude has lots of attributes, needs to work hard. Proctor was excellent against united and was falsley accused of mistake at goal against dunfermline by reporters and others that don't watch the game properly, he was his usual commanding self, and held together a shakey back four, still all the defenders playing on Saturday are great players on their day. Shinne rested although with a lot of the players off form its maybe harsh to drop him, great player (possibly a left mid).

It took until the killie game for the midfield and attack to gel and produce the goods, any defence will loose goals if the players in front are not doing their job. Since the shape has been changed to basically not having foran up top as he is much better out wide the team has played better but still not consistently enough. When the team does click it looks very good at times and they now look like a team who can compete and beat anyone on their day.

Nonsense, he was MOM against forest, no one could break them down for first 20 minutes then in 10 minutes Proctor broke them down 3 times with his passing and direct running and we were 3 0 up. Fine against Clach, team were rubbish against Livi and he did a job out of position at LB.

If there is one common factor about most of our games this pre season its that Proctor has been ripped apart in almost all of them. Was never the best player but was always reasonably solid, he seems to be struggling though.

Without the own goal by Innes and Tokely sleeping the score would have been 1 - 1.

Cox has touched the ball about 5 -10 times in the last 3 games which means he is creating or doing next to nothing and duff gave 50 percent of his passes away this means the central midfield is the first area that needs sorted. Duff has been a reserve for the past 3-4 years, yet peds was dropped for doing little wrong.

This is our main problem and we would pick up plenty of points once thats sorted. Cox needs a rest to see the step up in quality. And duff flatters to deceive.
