  1. Dean Shiels is also available in January :rotflmao:

Correction, he will have 6 months left on his existing contract in January and would be able to sign a pre-contract with someone making him available from June.

However...... I have an inkling he will sign a contract extension at Hibs before January. :thumb04:

  2. For ****'s sake guys this is football we are talking about. I don't think that it will bother Rankin too much that he was booed, in fact I think it would bother him more if he wasn't booed, at least when he is being booed he is getting the attention that he craves. You just have to look at the way his hair is never out of place and his smug grin to see that he is vain as ****. Footballers are professionals and being booed is a large part of the game everyone who is getting upset by the fact that a player for the opposition was booed should really get a grip and start channeling their energies into more serious issues than the feelings of an over paid prima donna.

I was more offended by our fan's taunting an opposition player's disability than a few wee jeers at an ex-player but like I said it's football and I am sure that Dean Shiels knows already that he is short of an eye.

I could not make the game on Sat but am disappointed to hear that this happened yet again, seems to happen just about everytime we play against you and Deano is on the park. :rotflmao:

I know its only a minority and I am sure most Caley fans are of the same opinion as yourself, but the minority really need to learn to shut up about this as it puts them in a very bad light indeed. Its unfortunate Dean did not get to have the last laugh with his missed chance near the end.

  3. Not sure what Mixu's plans for Rankin are as he was played out of his best position(s) today on the right of midfield.

We showed how much we've missed him with Dougie's performance & the his replacement, Lionel, being played out of position today.

Good to see him back in Inverness and wish him best for the season as an ex ICT stalwart & as evidence today that Mixu must be on "borrowed time".

What would lead you to that conclusion?

  4. I live just round the corner for Easter Road and if I meet Mixu in the queue for Greggs I'll let everyone know what he says.

You would be more likely to bump into him at East Mains where he spends most of his time. :rotflmao:

  5. Ian Murray was quoted on Sky Sports saying "I speak for myself and HOPEFULLY the rest of the team when i say the manager has our full backing."

Did anyone see the scuffle between Shiels and Fletcher?...that sure didn't show good signs of a happy team.

It is amazing what people will believe, Mixu never threatened to walk and was at no point going to be sacked. The majority of the squad are fully behind him and this was evident on Sat v Falkirk, any individuals likely to be unhappy would be those Hibs are trying to shift out the door, i.e. Brian Kerr..

The spat between Shiels and Fletcher against Killie was nothing, Fletch took a shot from miles out when he had better options, Shiels had a go at him and clutched the badge as if to say "play for the team, not yourself". I actually see this as a good sign as they are showing some passion to win.

Its been very easy for the press to have a go at Hibs recently with the poor pre-season results but when you look at who we played there were some very tough games against Elfsborg, Barca, Wigan & Middlesbrough mixed in with a few away games and we all know what Hibs away form is like.

Dundee utd actually have a worse record than Hibs in recent competative games (have not won a game since March) however this has been overlooked as the press continued their Hibs bashing. :rotflmao:

Looking forward to the game this weekend, hoping we can finally get a result up there. :thumb04:
