  1. I think that we have been really lucky to come out of the last two games V St Mirren and Killie, without conceding a barrowlaod of goals. St. Mirren could and should have put four or five past us, and if it hadn't been for the performances of Esson and Tokely last night Kilmarnock really could have inflicted our heaviest ever defeat.

Rooney has scored a good few goals but how many of them have been penalties? Am I correct in saying that he hasn't scored since contract "negotiation" started.

We have pulled points out of the bag when we have been severely under pressure and didn't deserve to, so things are just evening up now.

I've been feeling rotten with a bug since boxing day and dragged myslef out of my sick bed to watch that 5hit last night, even debating whether or not to bother travelling on the 2nd now.

Over the next few weeks we really could see several teams leapfrogging us, which could set us up for an unpleaant run in to the close season, esp when all the talk about Europe etc had us all excited.

    Bahh humbug!

Im sure if Adam felt the way you did with your bug - you can appreciate how he felt trying to do his job over the past few days. By the way do penalties not count ? Come on lets not start picking out certain players because weve lost 2 games - what about all the other games weve won.

  2. 1st let me say I was pleased to see the team trying to play some football again. We really need a creative midfielder - no one on the team can see a pass or a run from the forwards and if they do its to late.

I thought Richie did very well last night and Im sure when Adam recovers from his bug and is back to full health he will be back to his goal scoring ways.

Mind you we do have to try and get the ball into the box more often. I would also like to ask the fans to please get behind the team the other night was just terrilbe , you could hear a pin drop at some stages in the match.

So lets be positive and send that message to the team for Sunday 3 points will be ours - I believe.

    Come on Caley

  3. First and foremost well done I.C.T what a game. Our team was just terrific lots of heart - and football skill . Lennon wake up we gave you a battle and a football game your team were not up for it - how dare you come out and say we didnt create anything. I would love to see our supporters been so vocal at home and let the team know we are behind them. Well done to you all take a bow | I for one would like to hear on Saturday before the team come on the pitch ' The Boys are back in town'

Who decides what music is played at the match's . Looking forward to Sat and a 3 nil win

    Congrats to all

  4. Sorry guys but this is exactly why rumours should not be posted. Everyone gets into a slagging match - already we have someone saying let him go if he doesnt want to be here ! Did Adam actually say he doesnt ? I dont think so ! He is a professional footballer who came from Stoke City ( suppose to be on a loan deal first but neither Stock or Caley could agree with that. He signed on a 3 year deal ( dropping down in wages may I add ) to come to Inverness. He has Im told bought a house and settled in Inverness for the past 2 years so I cant see where Adam has not shown commitment to Inverness or football. Footballers are like any other person in a career - you have to look at the bigger picture - where to do want to go in your career ? how much will you be paid ? the only real difference is there's is a very short career and the lucky one's make big money. Adam is still a contract with Inverness and if he and the club can agree on terms that suit both Im sure he will.

So lets get behind all the players and club and give them our support - roll on Saturday.

  5. I would like to see the following team - leaving out Mc Cann and Cox because I dont think they will be fit

    ESSON

    TOKELY PROCTOR MUNRO GOLABEX

    HAYES DUFF FORAN ROSS

    ODIHAMBO

    ROONEY

I dont think Ross should be dropped to the bench he has done really well over the last 2 games and himself and Rooney seemed to have an understanding now.

So I believe we will get 3 points Saturday.

  6. According to our excellent stats he was born on 26.01.89

So that makes him just over 21, since January 26th.

Depends I suppose when the cut off date is for players being under 21 or is it just when they become 21, I don't know.

I think you are allowed to play in the rules if you are 21.

Its three players under 21 you need in a squad for each match isn't it? How many of our players meet this requirement just now?Cox,Hayes,Odhiambo,Shinnie,Ross? I'm guessing Rooney is at least 22 now is well so not him. We really need to have a few good under 21's in the team to do well in the SPL. I think the reason Rory managed to gain a lot SPL games for us was more because of the rule rather than for his skill. Meaning the youth's really do have a part to play in the season.

According to this site Rooney will be 23 on 21st of this month. We need a team of competing U-21's for SPL membership so there shouldn't be a shortage.

This site is a wealth of information if people would just take the time to explore it.

Adam Rooney will be 22 this April born 21st April 1988 -

  7. Overall i thought we played well in patches - Foran was a big miss as he links up well with Rooney

Rooney was left to win the headers and knock on's thus leaving the forwards position for Eric to get into ( I dont think he did that ) He has some good touches but he wont track back and make a tackle - Young Ross needs more games and confidence to take on players and at least he made the effort to be in the right place to follow up on Rooneys strike. Really thought Eric would have made way for Danni at half time - the team were crying out for someone to put there foot on the ball.

But 3 points is great. And Im glad the lads have no game during the week they really looked tired towards the end of the match. Well done to the team and the Management 3 more points on the board and roll on Saturday

    Come on Caley I believe

  8. 16:14:51

2-0 Odhiambo - Too easy for Caley, a ball is slipped in to the left of the box and Rooney cuts it back for Odhiambo to side foot into the empty net.

    2 assists from Rooney.... :D

Nice to see Rooney been the provider - come on Caley keep it going.

  9. Well done to every one of the players - they were asked to work hard and cover more of the pitch than Motherwell and they did. How anyone can come on this site and say Rooney did nothing for 90mins and didnt look interested is a joke.

He like most of the players on the pitch yesterday worked really hard and was involved in the 1st goal we got, but I guess if you dont like a player you never see the good in anything they do.

Well done to all the team and the management for a great result. Hope to see the true supporters on Saturday roar on the team. Come on Caley

  10.  :P Just want to say I was very pleased with the team on Sunday - I dont post very often on the site as sometimes I find it a bit upsetting to see all the negative stuff after a good game ( win or lose).

But I just had to come on here today and say well done and hope it spurs the team on for the rest of the season - There have been some comments on here about how bad Rooney is he does nothing etc well I think you certainly open a few eyes on Sunday keep up the hard work. Sanchez is another some have given bad comments to ( great game Sunday ) Hayes when he gets a bit fitter will be able to do the same in the second half as he done in the 1st. ( well done Johnny) And the rest of the lads take a lot of credit out of this game - now you know what you are all capable of. Forget the 2nd half and just play every game coming the same way you did against Dundee 1st half.

Well done Terry and the team you gave me a great day out.

  11. Rooney header was a great effort on goal keeper did well - also he should have had a penalty - as for Rosso what was he thinking - just put the ball back accross the goal area please

And another thing I notice why do we insist on having shots on goal from 30 - 40 yards out when we

anyway I think Brewster needs to stick with 2 forwards up front so hopefully he will stay with

Rooney and Barrowman they need to get games together. Rooney will start to score more goals now if he gets games . So come on Caley lets hear you all on Saturday :rotflmao:

  12. I must say the first match i attended at Tullock Stadium I was very disappointed as a fan of football Why do the fans not sing and encourage there team - forget about the stewards telling them to be quiet this is your team and you should show support i.e by singing / put some flags up etc like every other team in Scotland and the U.K - sure thats all part of the day. Also they need to put up T.V for the supporters at half time - get the club shop selling merchandise at half time and before the match starts - Another way to get more kids etc into the ground and bums on seats - have a kids match at half time this will bring along parents as well.
