  1. I heard he may have signed for aberdeen along with foran :026:

Nah, I'm sure they want to play SPL football next season.

    hehe

    good one

    It's very possible.

I'm not worried about McGhee coming even if he was watching our players, was there not reports he had a ridiculous number of players on his shortlist? Then again if he saw Foran, Rooney or Hayes he'd soon realise they could do a better job than his lot. He may not even be in a job by the end of the season.

McGhee why all this fuss? the guy is along with his team a DUD his team is full of duds who one minute he is clearing out then next saying that he is giving them extra time to sign deals etc, he has totally been found out at Aberdeen and just listen to some of his interviews, Celtic should consider themselves fortunate they only had Mowbry!!! Hayes may go but to Aberdeen? Cumon

  2. Did I hear right on BBC Radio Scotland this afternoon that we're in line for a ?250,000 parachute payment after being relegated ? If we are I hope it won't be eaten up settling the Marius case.

    :(

Yeah think i heard that as well, not quite the tens of millions they get down south lol

The Bankers get rewarded for failure, Our MP's reward themselves for failure, Football teams get rewarded for failure, something in this failure thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. im dissapointed with this announcement. Especiall when you read the other announcement on the Fly-Be sponsorshp when Fraser mentions that 'TB & MO will be given the opportunity to re-sign the players they want to keep and to strengthen the squad for a promotion challenge'

it doesnt make sense let players go just to strengthen the team again

It makes perfect sense when the players at the club are not good enough, perhaps if we had dispatched with sentiment at the end of the previous season we would not be in this position. Time to move on with fresh blood and back up into the SPL.

  4. Never seen this posted yet, although might be somewhere else.

In the Daily Star sports pages today, there was a topic on Caley, and interview with Graeme Bennet.

Main thing i read at the end was that Michael Fraser was going to Motherwell, as to which Bennet replied "These sort of contracts arent legally binding, Terry and I are hoping we can talk Michael into a deal."

    Good thing?

only two things worry me about saturday our goalkeeper who if he is going to motherwell what does saturday mean to him and as somebody else posted if he wasnt such a flapper we would be safe by now and our left back who will at one stage this season cost us dear with his defending??????????? Whatever saturday brings both these players are not part of a squad that I would pick for next season.

  5. Agree all Donnie

Poor old Lionel gets all the stick as usual there was at least two other ICT players never turned up yesterday and collectivley did less than Lionel. One of whom had an appauling game, no names as I never openly criticise.

I do find him entertaining though, in a team which isn't.

Although I agree with ur train of thought that others didnt play to great, none of them do what poor old Lionel does and fafs around and tries to be clever inside his own box, the one where he had 2 attempts to clear and came close to scoring a spectacular own goal with a miskick had to be seen to be believed!

  6. Signing for Motherwell.

Not sure if it's a pre-contract or if we've been made an offer to let him go now.

    What's the source?

lets be honest here he would be a loss but no great loss, after todays events perhaps would be a good time for a few more to move on as well, cause whoever comes in will not want all of CBs players anyway.

  7. SMEE - That can't be brewster... the sentence lasts longer than 5 words and doesn't contain any 'Ers', 'Erms' or 'der's!!! :rotflmao: :thumb04:

The fans understand that we have 4 tough games coming up, but I seriously think we will shine from now until season close.

Only down side is, if robbo takes over, he'll not be joining the full Highland March... lol

why would we want to take another backward step and bring Robbo back; the board today corrected a mistake. lets hope they dont make another one so soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Robbo had his time and did well but just like CB is part of our history now.

  8. PLEASE LEAVE GRANT MUNRO OUT OF THIS AS HE MUST BE DEMORALISED DEALING WITH THIS PRAT.

Almost as demoralised as I am after reading various topics for the past 30 mins, ranging from calls for Robbo to come back!! He left the first time 2 didnt he? and fighting amongst each other at the latest game where Hamilton were described as a team of Divers;albiet a team 6 points above us now. The rot started when Brewster came back for a second time, as for the recent money spent on the team?only money on wages of players who cannot get games at other clubs or are not fit enough? Still we did beat Partick Thistle so everything cant be all that bad can it???????????????????????????????????

  9. The draw is tomorrow afternoon. For selfish reasons would like an away tie, even though we've just won at home at long last. Queen's Park would have been ideal for me if Peterhead hadn't equalised. East Fife would be very nice though -don't think I've been to Methil before.

Any team we'd have a realistic chance of beating. For me anyone from Airdrie, Ayr, Peterhead, Queens Park or East Fife will do nicely.

Shows you the team Caley have become when we are hoping for anybody from a lower league that hopefully we can beat. Beating Partick Thistle will not keep us in the SPL only prepare us for what we could be playing every week.

  10. Dobbie is certainly a skillful player, but his fitness is def suspect.

Maybe Brewster and his fitness, diet regime, could do the trick and turn him into a spl player.

I remember the incident with the ballgirl, I thought he had killed her!! think she got the biggest cheer of the game when she appeared after halftime

Brewster hasnt turned anybody into a SPL Player thats the problem and it would be some diet last time I saw him!!!!!!!

  11. I've little doubt that Brewster cares and is doing his very best. The trouble is that his best is far from good enough.

I really don't think Brewster or Malky do care. All they care about is getting paid.

Who is this Malky, is that the guy who collects the balls pre match??

  12. It looks like moves are being made which is encouraging. This and a combination of the supporters trust meeting have given me something to smile about.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filipe_Morais

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thierry_Gathuessi

Sounds good to me, former Chelsea

Two players willing to move North "Quote", cant get a game at Hibs so hardly suprising, add Vladimir Kolesnicenko and Pavels Mihadjuks from Ventspils? all for the usual transfer fee ie nil. Hope they all speak with a Scottish Accent and dont want names on the back of their shirts! I take it Pressley was going to cost money?

  13. If he plays well, there will be a move, he obviously is dying to play for Rangers, so it all hinges on Walter Smith saying yes or no. I think Rangers do well at getting players on bosmans then punting them onto the championship for a few hundred thousand, and that will probably be the case here. Another Allan Gow.

He is obviously dying to play for anybody except the club who are paying his wages. Rangers are looking to offload several players in the transfer window, most; if not all better that Don Cowie, why oh why would they want him?? send him back across the bridge.

  14. Saw this in today's Daily Record, who state that a "concrete" approach has been made to ICT to take Barrenman off our hands. Goes on to say:

"A Caley Thistle source said: "Craig (Brewster) is thinking it over but may be amenable - his immediate responce certainly wasn't no. If a deal can be done, it is something that may well work in both clubs' favour.""

Ask county if they want Brewster instead!!!!!!!!!!!!

  15. I'm actually pretty pleased that we're trying something new. 4-5-1 just wasn't doing it for us.

It might not be such a bad formation for attacking, it'll give our full backs licence to get up the park. Let's wait and see how it works out before we pass judgment.

1645 JUDGEMENT Passed, worked out the same as last week another 3 goals lost, its not the system thats wrong its the team led by Mr B!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. easiest 3 points Aberdeen will get all season, truth hurts and its all about opinions so here is mine. How Brewster thinks that playing 4-5-1 at home is entertaining or effective is beyond me. Wood is not ready for regular SPL Football promising youngster or not. Others in the team have simply reached the end of the line in the SPL and should be moved on. Duncan and Mcbain are 2 that spring to mind. It happens in football great servants to the club or not. Others are simply not good enough at SPL level and they 2 should be moved on. Imrie, Hastings and Black take note, Black seems to expend most of his energy having a go at linesman, Ref etc whilst the game is still going on and no Ian you are not a hardman! Rosco would be better employed up front he seems to have more shots headers on goal in games than others and at least he looks like he is trying. Proctor and Munro are not a pairing not even on that crap strictly come dancing but maybe there is a opening there for them; leadership is required from the captain, i didnt really notice one way or the other if grant played today. If and it is now looking like a big if ;if Caley are to remain in the SPL then changes from the top and right down through the club have to be made and made now. However I doubt that will happen and i hate to say it but i feel we can all look forward to a trip to Dingwall and beyond next season. :rotflmao:

  17. although I dont attend many games due to work committments i do support Caley and since the return of Mr Brewster I have noticed a similiar pattern emerging as when he took over at Dundee Utd. He starts well for a few games as do most managers then drags the team down due to his poor tactics, man management and lack of experience as a manager. The time has come for him to go AGAIN this time in a sack before Caley drop back into the 1st Division. After New Year will probably be to late. :rotflmao:
