  1. Rosie's cafe at the bottom of Stephens Brae. I used to work there after school and get paid 10p an hour!

Going over The Black Isle on the ferry for the day in the summer hols with your mates and the only warning you got was not to miss the last ferry home.

    The Green Hut and cider.

Under 18 disco at the Caley Ballroom with the massive glitter ball.

Forging ID to get into The Tryst.

Dillingers and the Speakeasy bar. It was a sad day when Mr G's opened.

Coke floats in The Rendezvous restaurant.

Getting a takeaway from Abduls Indo-pak or Dennis's chinese was a treat

  2. Strangely enough, I thought Caley were deserving of a battling draw here whereas, at Ibrox, ICT could have won and would have merited it. Nonetheless, a couple of serious chances near the end. Main points are that Odi was well out the game and should have been subbed earlier, and the referee was dreadful - seriously dreadful. Did I see McCoist have a quick word with him just before half-time? The Gers just seemed to fall over in the second-half and get the free-kicks so a dodgy penalty by a dodgy referee is not surprising. Two very good keepers on show today though!

Down to Hearts next week so I'll see more resistance to Hearts' ambitions than Aberdeen put up today.

  3. So Lennon says that Inverness "weren't much of a threat"? There were long periods when Celtic were out-played particularly the first 10 - 15mins of the second-half. Celtic's 2nd goal (tremendous play from McCourt) was actually against the run of play. If Lennon couldn't see what was happening before his eyes, then he's not the man for Celtic. Btw, I couldn't imagine Walter Smith ever being so dismissive of opponents.

  4. What is easiest for you boris? As i say...my mate wil be picking me up about 6-25 ish. Can toddle along to cradlehall shops to get them...or Kingsmills hotel. Whichever suits yourself?

6.30 Cradlehall shops, outside 3 little bakers. Ok with u?

  5. Boris....what i could do.....is text/phone my mate and ask him. His plan was to pick me up at 6:40 to go to the game. Problem is...hes not the most reliable for replying. Am in Cradlehall...so its not too far to Kingsmills. As I say, I dont like to assume he would do it. BUT.....if you get shot of them in the meantime...good on ya! How does that sound?

Can drop them 2 u at the shops at Cradlehall. How does that sound? Rather someone had the benifit of the seats.

  6. Actually Boris....upon thinking....i am doubtfull ad make it to pick em up (assuming you wanted me to have em). I got my kids here. Their mother is notoriously late everytime to collect them...then am getting a lift to the game, so cant see me managing to squeeze in a detour :(

No babysitter is why I can't make the game. Anywhere nearer to you to hand over the tickets?

  7. I will also give a say in this.

The atmosphere was superb and it clearly matched the 1st half performance. I would attend Inverness games like that every day if i could with that kind of passion going about. I loved it.

Damn right. It was brilliant and all the fans were behind the team. For 90 minutes we didnt care it was a diddy cup. We wanted to win it.

    What's **** BNP all about?

  8. Noticed the Dundee fans throwing something at our players after the 2nd goal. Shame they had to resort to that

I think we witnessed a championship winning team in the 1st half...2nd half we witnessed the usual ICT

Don't worry, it was only pie.

Watched on the Alba channel. It was a custard cream biscuit!

  9. ESSON

    TOKELY PAVELS MUNRO LIONEL

    MORAIS BLACK KERR IMRIE

    FORAN ERIC

    Who's the ref????

No one nos the ref till a few days before the game. So pick your team before you fined out who the ref is?

I agree with this team, but will TB play Ryan Esson?

  10. I think captaincy is Grants problem. He just isn't able to play his own game and control the team. Being a Nessian he wants to be nice to everyone. He doesn't have the little bit of badness needed to captain a team. Take it away from him and he'll improve his game.

Agree with this but who will take the helm?

  11. why on earth would you start wood

IMO Good ball control on the ground. Fast over short distances. A striker.

Once again, we all have our own views. I'd like to think that TB/MM know exactly what they're doing, especially in training and morale, for the entire squad. As the last post said, we may well get 3 pts from where we least expect it.

  12. Of course there's pressure but all the posts that mention absolute relegation, hitting panic buttons and the woe of defeat by Motherwell aint helping the passion. Lest we forget, TB / MM were appointed due to the panic button being hit (way too late ) and " in case " we are relegated, they are still in place to take us back up to the SPL.

I would be devastated to see us relegated but there is nothing else to do now but have faith in TB/MM. We all have opinions on the team he should field but, do we want to see him changing the team every week the way Brewster did? I'd like Vigurs and Wood to get a start but have they been out too long to gel?

Also, a lot of other results have gone against us which we have no control over, scores and refereeing. No shame losing to Motherwell, just frustrating and dissapointing on how it was lost.

I'm continuing to believe and support in ICT being in the SPL next season.

  13. The standard of refereeing in scottish football is an absolute disgrace and they (refs) are untouchable now. That was the worst display I've seen in a long while. What's the point in Terry and Maurice speaking to the fourth official - he's always worse than useless. Get rid of the fourth official and spend his wages trying to sort out this god awful refereeing. This kind of shocking display can make or break clubs. It's about time the SFA get somewhere in line with the rugby refereeing.

That was frustrating today and the fact that Dougie Imrie ( grafter that he is ) aint a striker.

  14. :rotflmao: My other half laughed when I said that TB had been given the managers job and said "That's bizzare!" How so I asked? "Weeks ago when we were at the Rangers match, I thought this is dire, if Terry Butcher was the manager we could be in Europe". The thought just came from nowhere apparently and so unlike her to come away with something like that. Two bets on for ICT to reach the final and the other to win the final placed last week @ 40/1. Not a betting man but couldn't ignore this one. Only sorry that I didn't place it before the celtic game! This is winnable!!!
