  1. That penalty goes in, the momentum then with ICT and the confidence would be there to win the game and take that into the next games. As it stands, I'd imagine it's going to have the opposite effect.

  2. Scary stuff this. Surely the board have to sort this now. Have they learned from their mistake giving Brewster too much time to turn it around then left Terry with a less realistic chance of staying up? I wanted it to work Richie, but there's no signs it's going to.

  3. Personally I'd love nothing more than Foran to succeed, but I don't think he's got what it takes yet. Too little experience, I think the club should have looked for an experienced manager that wasn't going to have us in a relegation fight. Regardless if we stay up this season, with Foran I fear that for the next few seasons it's all we are going to be and that's in a relegation fight. For the last few seasons we've kept improving ourselves, whether it be cup runs or table finishes. The club was an established top six side, but it really is deteriorating by the week. Worst start to any season is pretty dire to hear. If a few other clubs weren't having such poor seasons then we'd be in alot bigger trouble than we are.

in my opinion, if the board are tempted to make a change then now is the time to do it. With the break, it's a great time to get someone in before we have a run of crucial games. Would that really be such a knee-jerk reaction?

  4. I'm leaning towards Levein now.

Granted, Scotland was a disaster, but he always complained he didn't get enough time with the players and that's what he missed about club management. If we got the ex-Dundee Utd and hearts manager, rather than the ex-Scotland manger - two totally different management styles - I think he'd do a job for us.

  5. Although we've had time to digest this news as it was just a matter of time it got confirmed, I'm feeling fairly confident.

I don't feel the loss of Butcher is our loss, the loss of the club in this position is Butchers loss. We are the one in the strong position, therefore we are the ones that will attract managers to a job they wouldn't think about before. Who knows what managers will be in the hat and showing interest. The club is in its strongest ever position, and of course that's partly due to the management team but not solely.

We now enter the next phase of life as an ICT fan, and I for one am quite excited about it.

  6. I fully expect TB's new 3 year deal with ICT to be announced first thing tomorrow morning.

    By the ever accurate BBC.

Don, you were one of the few who couldn't see him going. Have you resigned yourself to the fact he's going? You were one of the few who gave us hope he wasn't away.

(I can't put that sentence in words without sounding sarcastic, it's a genuine question ha)

  7. Really disappointed in how this has all panned out.

To do that yesterday, sit there in the stand, take hospitality from Hibs just reeks. If he did say to the Sky sports reporter he was a 'neutral' yesterday, even more shocking. That is his team out there, his players, the team he manages. Even if he it's going to Hibs, should never be coming out with that.

Butcher isn't the messiah. He's done a great job here the last few years, but it took just that - a few years. Butcher won't get time at Hibs that's a fact. He's got the team playing well here because he has good players, I can't see him going straight in and getting out the best of those players! he's no master technician is Tel.

If he doesn't get time and the fans are on his back in 6-7 months, we've seem in the past how much Tel doesn't deal with pressure. Anyone remember 'Don't you fuckin leave?'? QOS score their 3rd against us in 85 mins or so for a 3-1 win and he wanted us to stay to cheer the team on during a mass exodus? That was something!

For me, bridges are burned and he can go. It's a real shame though, the longer this pans out, the more the respect for the work he's done here over the last near five years is diminished.

  8. TyroneSTV has it that Mo is to hold talks with Hibs tomorrow.

That indicates to me that the compensation is the hurdle here that nothing has been confirmed. If Terry wasn't leaving, why would they talk with Mo?

  9. Has it been confirmed who will be in the dugout for ICT tomorrow? As in, is it definite that Tel won't be?

If so, I can't understand that. Terry is the ICT manager, if he's going nowhere, why wouldn't he represent the club that pays his wages and take charge of the team tomorrow? Hibs will surely love that he's not, having disrupted this weeks training already.

If there's still no been no decision made, I can understand that - it's a move that could define Terry's career. However, if a decision has been made, it's an absolute farce that both sets of fans haven't been informed.
