  1. ................. some of whom will have to return to the central belt in total darkness over one of the most notorious routes in Britain, is sub zero temperatures.

That philosophy would rule out playing games November to March inclusive :029:

  2. Once again the police have recommended the match be cancelled because of what they see as a risk to public safety.

Between 2pm and 5pm on Saturday there will probably be greater crowds heading to and from Tesco Retail Park in quite dangerous conditions, both for cars and pedestrians.

And as if conditions weren't dangerous enough, many of these cars are likely to be driven by women. :022:

Shouldn't the police be recommending the closure of all retail parks on Saturday afternoons?

Exactly ................... was in and around Inverness today, and am gobsmacked that some 2-bob penpusher :029: has made this decision. Conditions were far worse in Inverurie last year when the game was played.

anyone know the Coin Toss ruling, coz if OB stick with these parameters this game could be outstanding for weeks. :018:

  3. Yo there folks and Happy New Year to you all.

Applause to both Chairmen for the ticket prices, although I have to ask why an all-ticket game ?

Hopefully the weather will not interfere with what could be a fairly evenly contested fixture. Had it been a week ago, the match was yours without doubt .... however we seem to have found some positives now that Gannon has been sent packing. :eat02:

  4. No worries .......Wee Johnny and I have an understanding :022:

We may sport different colours but we share the same passion for our respective teams, albeit thru the difficulties of an exiled perspective. Life as a football fan is a rollercoaster ride, as you know doubt realise in your short history ................. but would we have it any other way ? No chance

  5. I'm gonna be chummy chummy chummy and suggest a lot of CB based football fans want you folks to retain your SPL status. There are far too many clubs in the CB as it is, and I know a lot of my fellow 'Well fans enjoy the journey north, (until OB banned drink on the train that is).

I like Terry Butcher, (never used to right enough), and a visit to the Longman is a home game for me, albeit a expensive one.

So, all the very best on Saturday. I sincerely hope ICTFC achieve a result which will secure their SPL status for a further season at least.

    Cheers,

    MFC Rool :)
