Smee iwould like nothing better than to have nothing more to do with them bit the. Bank say I have to show that I have tried to contact them to cancel or they can do nothing about reclaiming any money taken from my account. Bit of a catch 22. I guess following the link is no great shakes as they have my bank details anyway.

And yep scotty I'm normally pretty switched on to this sort of thing but I truely thought I'd not completed the transaction

It's def a scam - that's why I phoned the bank. The company have said to cancel my contract with them I need to follow the link they gave me. I need to know if I'm leaving myself open to anything else by doing this...

Think i've been scammed ordering from the internet...

Anyway, got in touch with my bank and they advised closing my account and in the meantime have transferred what little cash i had including my overdraft to my savings account.

I managed to contact the company (in the US) by phone - on a very bad line too, and they sent me the following email

I find all this "I went to the away game so I'm a good supporter" a bit over the top. Many fans would like to go to all games but cannot, for umpteen reasons, mostly financial and/or family.

I have no family reasons, only financial and can only go to the away games primarily because I give up holidays etc - each away day is ?12 on the Supporters bus and whatever else I spend on the day over the top of entrance and programme. I am, I suppose, a saddo as I prefer to go to the likes of Airdrie (have no idea what the place is like but the Stadium is nice despite being deserted on three sides!) instead of Cyprus or wherever (hate hot sun anyway)(cost of holiday there is virtually equivalent to my seasons away days). I have been to countless away games over the years but have no idea what the areas around the stadiums are like. However I can recall the stadiums and the games - who wants to know about the surroundings, only the results are important to me.

It's all a matter of choice and as long as there is a Supporters bus to the away game, I'll be there - except for a week Saturday - who arranged that??? I've paid for my Dinner, didn't realise there is no dance and now will miss away Cup game at Killie. What a dilemma and even now trying to decide between Killie and Drumossie - anyone want my Dinner ticket?

well - a member of the supporters club saying it's ok to miss a game! i remember being told by the 'hard core that i wasn't a true supporter unless i went to every game - changed days!

i can assure you that there are no mcdougall & hastie steak pies at caley park just now - even in the posh seats!

More than a rat!

The Supporters Club had a minibus last week to the Dunfermline game. Why not one this week? On many occasions folk have not been able to get seats on the buses and it must really p!ss them off i'm sure enough not to travel again.

If it's a cost thing then they need to fundraise more to keep costs down. They should be looking at why folk don't use the buses rather than why they do.

I was under the impression that they had a reasonably healthy bank balance. Surely as an organisation whose stated aim has been to get fans to away games should be doing that. It's understandable to want to have reserves of cash but at what level should that be?

Maybe one of the members of the Club or the Treasurer could tell us what the accounts look like?

The catering at our ground has been appalling at our ground for some years now.

latest rumour has it that the catering company buy the cheapest of cheap pies from farmfoods for selling at our games.

noting wrong with farmfoods pies - but when you're being charged ?1.60 odd for a pie that costs 4 for ?1 or something... well that is daylight robbery!!

60p for polos? don't eat them - but i'm sure that must be nearly 100% mark up!

absolutely abysmal

i remember buying a pie and it was not the slightest bit hot in the middle and burnt on the bottom. took it back and it was as if it was my fault!! got a replacement which he's stuck a thermometer in and it was still cold in the middle!

the catering is a joke!

some of the posters on this site just amaze me.

Not so long ago it was Judd that was getting the slagging off for not doing a good job. You get someone in who makes an effort to do things a bit differently - and much better in my mind - and they all start to crawl out of the woodwork to slag them off.

Where were these guys when the club was looking for volunteers to do things? Clear snow off the pitch, paint toilets and the like? Bet if the club asked for volunteers to sell programmes or 50/50s not one of you would put your heads above the parapet and do it.

IHE had the right idea when he was calling some of the folk connected with the club muppets. Half the folk posting on this thread should be on that list too...

Is this members of the Supporters Trust attending an away game? Whatever next!

a very sweeping statement YaBoy - there are many members of the Supporters Trust who attend all the away games...

We had 4 last season. Didn't manage every game and some of us managed a few. There were very few weeks when all the tickets were used.

This season, due to financial contsraints, we won't be renewing them all - maybe one or 2... The costs of travel and accommodation are too much now...

to be honest birdog it's not quite as funny as it seems...

I've travelled on the official Supporters Club buses a few times and though pretty well organised they don't meet my needs.

we left Inverness at 10am and then stopped in Perth, sometimes by the time you get in and out of there it's nearly an hour. there's not too many exciting places to go around Perth bus station... On more than a couple of occasions we arrived at the ground either 10-15 minutes before ko or missed it by the same margin. one of these games was the jimmy johnston tibute game at Parkhead. it would have been good to be in the ground at least 30 mins before ko in order to take it all in but we missed the first 10 mins... on the way home we stopped in Perth again. probably for around 30 mins which in itself isn't too bad. No drinking on the bus - well except for those and such as those...

I'd far rather leaving a bit earlier, heading straight for the ground we're playing at and being able to meet up with fellow supporters or ICT and in all possiblity fans of the oppostition and have a drink in a hostelry before hand.

So - in short - the supporters club buses don't really meet my needs nor those of many of my friends.

we also have to ask ourselves why some of the younger travelling support get the train to games (including some of those closely related to the bus convener)....

Nobody seems to have pointed out that David Sutherland is also far from being the largest shareholder. He has a grand total of 250 shares in ICT.

All in all, next season, it may be easier being in Div 1. So we should feel lucky to be relegated. Perhaps the board knew this all along, and was part of the plan....IHE?

We could also do with running buses on a slightly more sensible schedule. I never use them because you tend to arrive 5 minutes before kick-off and don't get back to Inverness until some stupid hour.....being forced to pay for a meal on the way back or sit around with your thumb up your butt waiting for Kath and her Cronies whilst they go eat.

i know of folk who're members of the supporters club and they booked on the bus but were told they couln't get on cos it was full... not a bad complaint i know but surely they should be looking at ways of taking folk who want to go specially as that's what the sc is supposed to do - take people to games... they're not going back with them cos of that and the fact they get to away games too late.
