  1. "No brainer" really for Hughes, IMO.
Back living at home with his family and young daughters, a guarantee of employment (for, I'd imagine 2- 3 years) when he's got nothing like that security with his current employer; plus, effectively 'promotion'...with a contract to manage at a bigger club - and for better wages!

Let's be honest, - we'd all jump at that opportunity - if in the same boat.

Tell that to Jackie McNamara. Can't believe how you lot are just accepting he's gone and probably doing the right thing when he hasn't even talked to United officially. It would be a crap move for him, a lunatic chairman, if it went wrong another big hole in his shaky CV while he's got the chance to build up a good record in Inverness and move onto somewhere better than Dundee United ffs. I don't know about his wife and kids, but we've got nice houses and schools up here too.

  2. Yes, the club do post the tickets themselves and I would imagine that if you ordered tickets over the weekend then there's a chance the club would hold them instead of posting, what with it being xmas week and the chances of them being held up. Would check to make sure though.

01463 227451 is the number for the shop 01463 222880 is reception.

Brilliant, thanks CaleyD. I'll drive up to the stadium early tomorrow to make sure methinks. Cheers!

  3. Humble felicitations from a Falkirk fan, who's parents have retired to Inverness.

I'm up a couple of weeks to see my folks, and thought I'd take the opportunity of taking my nephew from New Zealand to watch Caley help to send the Dons down to tremble in front of the mighty Bairns in Div 1 next season.

I did the online registration to buy tickets for the North End, giving my home address in Wales, but was given no opportunity to change the delivery address to my parents' one in Inverness.

I've sent an email to the club, but I note that the club shop isn't open till Wednesday. I will be at the stadium at 9 am tomorrow morning in the hope of kidnapping and robbing the postman should it prove necessary. Do the club send out the tickets, or is it an agency? Anyone have a number I can phone tomorrow to stop losing the tickets (my home in Wales is empty, and I have no friends nearby with a key)?

Any help and advice would be very welcome...
