  1. I find it quite hard to believe that all these injuries just occurred "by chance"

That's exactly how injuries occur. If there's anything on a football or training pitch field that is virtually completely outwith the control of the management, it's injuries.

  2. Ridiculous to suggest sacking Tel, we lost crucial players in summer and have had a huge injury list. The young players need time to get used to SPL football and a change of manager will not help their progress, in fact it could hinder it.

We're hardly cast adrift at the bottom, and there's 22 games till the split. The team needs support and that includes the management so let's put the dummies back in and back the team!

  3. Hi, don't know if this is the right forum but I thought I'd post this here because your forum is much much busier than mine! Not difficult lol...

An Aberdeen fan brought this to my attention and they're looking for 'non Old Firm' teams fans to band together and not go to games when their team plays the OF next season.

Plus they're going to set up a website for a "REAL" SPL where they calculate the league table not including the OF and award a trophy at the end of the season!

They're wanting to canvass other teams fans so like I say my messageboard is empty so I thought I'd bring it to your attention. Here's the link: http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=4&fid=27&sty=2&act=1&mid=2117740111

    All the best

  4. St Johnstone never offered stuart duff a contract with them. Wonder if TB is still looking at him?

Noticed that as well, he'd be decent cover and competition for Russeldinho and Cox. Think we could do with one more player.

He was a bit headless chicken though, if we're adding to the squad we should be adding quality even at our level of budget.

  5. Hamilton have signed Gary McDonald from Aberdeen

I don't know why we didn't go for him. Likes a goal or two from midfield, the sheep don't seem to like him on their FootyMad board, they call him Casper the Ghost.....:rotflmao:

But I reckon that's more because Mcgoo doesn't have a clue what he's doing over there than McDonald being pesh, reckon he'll weigh in with a few at Hamilscum.

I'd like to see us go for the lad Wilson from Raith and Andy Kirk - I know they're both under contract but they're in their last year of contracts so could be up for a move to the SPL where I think they could do a job.

  6. World Cup 4-2-3-1? How about SFL1 formation?

    Esson

    Proctor Tokely Munro Golly

    Duncan Cox

    Hayes Sanchez Foran

    Rooney

    We're ahead of the game.

Anyone notice a 4-2-3-1 today? :rotflmao: I don't give a toss what the official site says, that was a straight 4-4-2 today.

I dont give a toss what you say, it definitely wasn't a 4-4-2 today to start with. Rooney was on his own upfront, with Sanchez playing well deeper than him, at times you would've thought he was centre mid. Bluhmanshtein was wide left aswell with Nicky Ross wide right, so dont know where you're getting 4-4-2 from, anyone else at the game could tell you it definitely wasn't, until Eric came one, then we seemed to have someone partnering Rooney up top.

    4-4-1-1 (which is a variation of 4-4-2), then 4-4-2.

    Not 4-2-3-1 anyway.

I'm not sure I like your tone.

  7. World Cup 4-2-3-1? How about SFL1 formation?

    Esson

    Proctor Tokely Munro Golly

    Duncan Cox

    Hayes Sanchez Foran

    Rooney

    We're ahead of the game.

  8. Tuffey

    McCann, Innes, Munro, Gillet

    Ross, Duncan, Cox, Blumenshtein

    Sanchez

    Rooney.

So, it will be same formation as Stockport game with only changes being Tuffey instead of Esson, Gillet for Tokely and Rooney for Sutherland.

    ^^^This

I'm loving the amount of World Cup 4-2-3-1 formations... get real, this is the SPL lads.
