Hey Folks, I wanted to let you know about the awesome charity auctions I am holding right now, which include some amazing Caley Thistle items. My fundraising has seen me raise over £42k for charity through running marathons and auctioning items, and right now my auctions are supporting Maggie's Centres. Maggie's provide support for anyone affected by cancer, and they are a cause who I think are simply amazing! My aim is simple, to auction as many awesome items as I can and donate as much money to them as I can. Next Thursday I am going in person to Maggie's to make my latest donation, which at the moment is going past the £2k mark :) Thanks to the generosity of Caley legend Barry Wilson I have a match worn Caley Thistle home shirt from circa 2004, with no8 on the reverse, and league patches on the sleeves. It's signed on the front by the squad of the year, including club legends Brewster, Munro, Duncan, McCaffrey and loads more including Barry himself. I also have a teamsheet from the 2014 League Cup Final which, as we all know, was the first major cup final Caley reached, which has been signed by the squad and management making it an awesome bit of Caley Thistle history! Bidding for the Aberdeen squad signed teamsheet is going well... I'd love to see this one fly as well! As part of my current fundraising venture Twelveby12 I have a pair of Jonny's matchworn goalie gloves up for auction. Jonny was kind enough to donate them prior to the final day of the season at Hamilton, and has signed and squad numbered both in black marker on the palms. My aim this year is to raise ?12000 for some brilliant charities including Children with Cancer UK & Great Ormond Street Hospital. In the last few years I have raised ?20000 for some brilliant causes through auctioning items donated by celebrities such as this item. I also run marathons, having completed the last four NYC Marathons, and this year I will be running in Berlin and Loch Ness as well as loads of smaller events around the UK.
