We got what we deserved: nothing. If you can't put the ball in the back of the net, you don't deserve to win. A new striker is vital but not sure where the funds will come from.
Also, why is it that we only seem to be able to raise our game vs County? From the dozen or so games I've been to this season, our three best performances have been against them and we have a grand total of three points to show for it.

down to 9 men. Who thought this season could go so badly?

Get Susan on! This is shocking! We cannot surely lose to Dumbarton...
-
Defence is sorted - anyone bar Donaldson, Chalmers or Elsdon. Rest of the lineup?
-
anyone who was at the game able to provide a brief match summary? Pleased with the result but I think we should be winning more comfortably

Lot of negativity over the Donaldson signing. I'm prepared to give the boy the benefit of the doubt. After all, QPR paid a fairly significant (by Scottish standards) fee for him so he must have something about him!

Seemingly Zschusschen will miss out through injury and Cooper is a possible absentee as well. I assume Elbouzedi is still out.
Esson
Seedorf Raven Warren Calder
Polworth Trafford Vigurs
Bell Oakley Baird
Subs - Ridgers, Mckay, Mulraney, Chalmers, Elsdon, Foy, MacDonald
I'd go with this. Ridgers needs dropped - he seems to lack confidence and his distribution has been a bit dodgy.
Susan could be a bit of a miss as I don't really see who could come on as a sub and provide much of a goal threat. However, I'd be surprised if Donaldson wasn't on the bench

I'm hearing we've signed some Canadian player? Anyone able to confirm?
-
I'm quietly confident we'll scrape into the playoffs. The team just needs to gel a bit first.
-
Not sure how I feel about Donaldson. Most Utd fans seemed delighted when he left however, he has premier league experience so should just about cut it at our level.
Pleased to see Susan scoring. I think he could be a good player for us once he finds his feet

for those who were at the game, which players were particularly culpable? From what I can gather, Vigurs had another good game and Susan looked sharp in has 20 min cameo

If Dundee Utd are considered the best team in the league, I think we'll do ok this season. We were unlucky not to take something from the game.
Vigurs was excellent today but we're definitely lacking upfront. Just can't see where the goals are going to come from.

Looking forward to some match reports from those at the game today. Good to get the win but I'd been hoping for a more convincing scoreline with the season opener looming

Regardless of the team that Robbo puts out, we should and must be winning this

If Mulraney improved his crossing and final ball, he could be a cracking player
