Blue Toon in the Cup

ICT_Peterhead.pngThe second round draw for the Co-Operative Insurance Cup (League Cup) has been made and Caley Thistle will play Peterhead at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium on Tuesday 24th or Wednesday 25th August.

Peterhead have somewhat of a Highland contingent in their ranks with former ICT players Bobby Mann, Martin Bavidge and Dennis Wyness all signed for the Blue Toon, and former County player Conor Gethins and manager Neale Cooper in charge.In the last round, as ICT were seeing off Queen's Park, Peterhead were disposing of Montrose by a scoreline of 5-0 with Dennis Wyness scoring a double, Martin Bavidge also scoring and Bobby Mann having assists in at least two of them. It will be a tough game.

  • Brechin City v Dundee
  • Heart of Midlothian v Elgin City
  • Alloa Athletic v Aberdeen
  • St. Johnstone v Morton
  • Ross County v St. Mirren
  • Inverness Caledonian Thistle v Peterhead
  • Partick Thistle v Falkirk
  • Queen of the South v Forfar Athletic
  • Raith Rovers v Hamilton Academical
  • Dunfermline Athletic v Clyde
