No Regrets for Brewboy

Apparently Brew says in this article that he enjoys playing for County and that there's a chance that he'd still be ICT boss if he'd continues playing (you bet), but yet strangely doesn't regret it. Sickening really. All season ICT needed a striker who could knock them and yet Brew wouldn't do it due to a "shoulder injury" which seems to have now magically healed.

He did damage his shoulder quite badly and was told there was a risk of permanent damage if he carried on playing. He might still be taking a risk playing now.

Every player/manager has to take a decision at some stage in their career as to when they should hang up their boots...

It probably made sense for him at that time to call it a day at that time.

Unfortunately his best days for us were as player/manager... he couldn't quite make that transition from player/manager to manager.

He's not the first to discover the differences between coaching on the field, and coaching from the technical area.

Dalgliesh and Souness experienced similar problems.

Anyway... He's history now... I hope the Brew boo boys enjoyed their day yesterday. I suppose for some of them that's what football's all about.

Craig Brewster is the past as far as ICT is concerned. Let him get on with the rest of his life and let's move forward ourselves.

Terry and June are the future.
