Why are they shifting people from the Main Stand? What's happening there?

not sure what the officially spun reason will be but more space for hospitality and full priced seating is the end result

It would be interesting if the club put out a tentative letter to gauge opinion on possible shifting of fans - would people be prepared to do so if it helped the atmosphere - in the next couple of weeks before they start trying to market season tickets.

they are already shifting fans in the main stand family section to the north stand. is this a good enough test?

I know it's an ongoing issue and a difficult one to police.  I also know that it is something that the Chief Exec is trying to manage better, and I think it is a bit better every game.  They will never stamp it out completely, but they should deal with complaints received.

maybe if the club stopped dishing out tickets in large numbers to known rangers and celtic fans who are friends of the club or to directors or companies who pass them on to these people then it might get better

After all the support given to local ref Kevin Bissett by ICT, its fans and players isnt it nice to see the local refs who will be officiating at this game return those gestures by refusing to donate all or even part of their match fees for this game to the player fund, something that has been a standard practice in testimonials for years.
