  1. I wholeheartedly agree, we need a bit of openness from the Board, income must be up last year given the cup run, realise players will had bonuses but surely these were not greater than income?

We have given away shirt sales, do we get any income now from share of sales, but would have thought better to sell own shirts

We have given away match programmes too

Still only have a converted container as a club shop

Still as far as I now rent the two end stands, happy to be corrected on this though

Small time approach, and whilst I accept staying in premier league is a must we should also plan to be out of the relegation mix as a bear minimum

We had a fantastic season last year and whilst it is unlikely we will be that successful again we can at least strive to emulate as much as possible

Now looks like going through the season without  out and out centre which is not a good place as we need someone to put chances away as they will be at a premium

Current competitive games have exposed us having no out ball, no plan B and certainly no chances being created (so maybe don't need a centre)

A top 6 finish this year would be great, especially with Hearts now up  and wold expect Arabs to do better than last year

Emulate as a minimum St Johnstone would be great

  2. Omitted the suspensions!!!! No centre forward as someone has said, wonder how me manage that now, Nick Ross or Ryan Christie are next options but too lightweight

Again Board no conviction too scared to give decent contracts to all players so we lose players and do NOT replace them

  3. sorry but in my opinion shocking second half performance!!! Why in second half did Hughes not change it when we had so many defenders with yellows and ended up paying the penalty yet again. Yet again another two points dropped last two games.

Raven should have been off too!!!!! We will never get into Europe with performances like this, maybe the Board do not want European footie as will cost them as folk in Inverness just do not turn out but Caley only have themselves to blame

We NEVER kill off teams when opportunity arises, others even do it

Yes we have had a great season so far but could have been so much better

    • Agree 1
  4. Think I agree with posters above as Raven back in at right back, Shinnie back over to left

Midfield too lightweight as Doran, Ross, Williams nor Watkins can tackle and win the ball back

Now with Draper out, likely Warren to be out, we will be very lightweight against a fast moving Motherwell

Need Foran and Vincent back in the team so decision is whether to bring in someone for short term cover or run with what we have

Do we need another centre as Tobi does not look to have it, even although his playing time has been limited, think todays run showed his lack of ability to hold up the ball

Passing today was lacking as in previous games too

Is Hughes the right manager, time will tell but on these performances doesnt' look like it

Need an assistant in too, Shearer standing on touchline does not give me any hope, cardboard cutout I think as shows he doesn't want to be there or is this another cost cutting exercise by the board?

Attendance today very poor, no gumption shown by board to try and get fans to the game

I have said before get a stand at Tesco in retail park and get kids in for a pound with dad paying proper price and get the seats filled.

  5. We need a strong and tall centre forward to act as foil for MacKay

FOr last few games midfield has been powderpuff, and now Draper is suspended for ???? games and no Foran or Vincent we will really struggle in short term and it is whether that is worth the gamble of leaving as is

  6. I must agree this is a signing that I think can help our season grow

With the current signings still settling in will be good to get a steadying influence at the back

Roll on satruday and rest of season, things looking up even better now

  7. Still nothing on official website.

I agree rain is nothing that can be done about!

However the club are letting fans down bu not being able to update site quickly, this is not the first time!

I heard form someone in Glasgow!!!!!!

Also agree fixtures now in chaos as no free time to fit this in before split and depending on results could be material as to who is in top 6!

Would also agree since undersoil heating installed more games have been postponed

  8. Doran and Hogg were my men of the match, Hogg dominated at back and wasnt' sitting back, got right in there

Doran was brill on wing and looks like a real find.

Butcher going to have some unhappy players about being left out in weeks to come as choice is starting to appear whereas previously team almost picked itself

Well done getting into next round, potential banana skin, but handled it well

  9. I have a season ticket in main stand and took my niece (aged 8) to her first football match, she is up visiting from Glasgow this weekend and was shocked at the price I was asked to pay for her today.

I thought Caley were trying to be a family club and were trying to pride themselves in this, but to charge ?20 for a child in the main stand in a game v Hamilton Accies where it is a foregone conclusion it would be no where near a sell out, why was there not an attempt to reduce prices and get a bigger crowd in.

Smaller profit per ticket but more bums on seats would balance it out, especially if the club attempted to make tickets more accessible.

Back to previous suggestions of setting up a stall, in say Tesco's at retail park and one in the shopping centre selling tickets and promoting the club might just get more interest in the club.

Having a ticket office only open 10 til 4 is not conducive to many workers, but picking up a ticket etc, on the nights leading up to a match when out shopping might just generate some additional interest.

  10. Would agree Mensing was a stand out, but then again Rooney is not a ball winner when the ball is in the air

When Foran is playing he consistently wins the ball in the air and helps it onto Rooney but at present as he is out, we struggle in that area, unless we puch Tokely up

Hasselbanks nephew also looked good prospect

  11. Think issue is more that the whole team today were dire!

How Rooney got man of the match, maybe the only one the sponsors knew the name of!!

The man of the match award should have been withheld!

After having gone all the way down to Dundee last weekend to see an absolute fantastic performance, today was such a let down

I personally think they assumed they only had to turn up

If not for Esson we would have lost a lot more heavily

Ross is young yes and will have a ong career ahead of him, and yes is still developing, but he does need some filling out, he is lightweight and rather easily pushed off the ball, much like Eric was last year but he appears to have strenghtened

Come on Caley, you must be embarassed to pick up your wage packet this week, as I think in my 10 years living here, today was one of the worst attempts at participating in a game of football I have seen from a Caley team

Why after the first half against Celtic and last weeks full game v UNited I have absolutely no idea!!

But they better buck up or else
