I did too, until about 15 minutes into the game. Germany were the 2nd best team in the tournament so the cynical, ungracious Dutch bad losers should consider themselves very lucky to have runners up medals. glad spain won but to be honest there were alot of poor games at this cup could have used a tartan army influence too :(

thought it might be an idea to start a thread on here for a monthly Movie review or at least my favorite movies type thing May :- Kick Ass, very sweary and violent film about a teenage super hero Wannabe. has alot of very funny one liners and some excellent action scenes June :- Centurion , based around the lost roman 9th legion and a group of them trying to escape scotland whilst being hunted by a hunter/tracker called ethane. similar vain to Gladiator in the epic battles style but with a bit more gore, has some low points with needless one liners that arent all that funny but is a good film HotTubTimeMachine , does exactly what it says on the tin...loved it, dosent take its self to seriously and has a decent twist at the end..but then i am a big John Cusak Fan July :- Four Lions , ok Suicide bomber comedy is not the first thing that would be on alot of peoples must see list but this is very funny and will have alot of people quoting lines for quite some time to come...also has a couple of touching moments and it is actually quite bizarre to find yourself rooting for the bombers by the end

Putting Liverpool in bold doesn't change it from being Liverpool's youth team. A couple of decent games, one against teenagers doesn't make up for the countless awful games he had. Lionel was always exciting to watch...when he stuck to the simple stuff he was bearable it was when he tried to get clever and start playing football it went horribly wrong...will always remember that tackle from the pre-season county game when he nearly decapitated someone on there side though :)

think this could be a very good move for elgin and barry if it comes to chance for him to cut his teeth in a no expectations environment while maintaining fitness and passing on expereince

Are you an ICT fan or one of those Caley "rebels" who love to have a go at the club at every opportunity? It certainly seems the latter. why do people seem to think that the validity of the club revolves around a score board.. i really dont believe that we are seen as a joke club when we have proven time after time we can compete with the top teams in the country...was it not Celtic that took the cup game against us seriously enough to warrant 2 nights in a hotel and training prior to the game?? we have earned our right to be in the top league in our country and all our own fans seem to want to do is find reasons to slate us. so what if we dont have a socre board if you cant remember the score then either pay more b***dy attention or just ask someone

Spain-Holland for the final im favoring spain slightly with a hope on villa getting the golden boot was impressed with spain today as they played the way they wanted to and i didnt think germany ever really looked like a threat only thing i could say is that spain seemed to tend to want to try that one move to many and not just make the killer blow

personally i think kyle deserves one more than dougie cant be easy to maintain enthusiasim and motivation and try to compete for a place when you are against someone like ryan in the form he was in however if dougie wanted one and was willing to contribute then fine...failing that he left the club so why should we spend to give him a token gesture when he will be out to defeat us everytime this season

Thats the nature of the beast Tug and, as you well know, it is still the very young who are being affected by war. Then it was Ireland, now its Iraq and Afghanistan. but it doesnt make it any more right im not attempting excuse what they did just trying to say that really this sort of case is only truly understood by the people that were there and involved.the length of time has led to memories becoming altered and not wishing to speak i'll of the dead but i think records would show therre would have been a good chance that the potential for them to have become more involved in the hostilities would have been high

the reason i chose to say "Victims" is that despite any inquests and whatever outcomes we will never know the truth as has been stated the dead averaged 18 years old and its accepted that many of the soldiers were of the same age this is a situation that they should not have been placed in in my eyes and also further to that do we know what state many of these people are now int(The soldiers obviously) granted there may well have been one or two cases of yeah lets go get them ha ha but i would lay pound to a penny that there were more cases of we best do something here because im petrified and i dont want to get shot at at the end of the day there are two sets of victims from this those that died and those that have to live with the consequences of having to live with the choices made by the commanding officers

'Put-a-line-on' has been appointed new boss, i think he'll struggle with the financial problems they have Would love the buddies to go down purely to silence their rabble of arrogant, self-obsessed fans personally i would settle for beating them...got sick of there anti football rubbish last time and would love to ram a 7 nil thumping down there smug throats....looking forward to some top quality annoying of there team though :D
