i wanted to go to Romania but cant justify the spends. I am technically outside the highlands but we will be staying with the inlaws during summer holidays for a bit. I also am emigrating and cant commit too far into the future to have been able to risk 3 or 4 hundred for the away leg. I have got a ticket for next week and I am hoping to take my middle son to his first game on sat for the St Mirren match

I am of the belief one round would be great and to bow out without getting battered would be great. at what point though does the europa adventure starting become a drain on the clubs finances and players? I was also led to believe that as we go in 1 round after Aberdeen in theory we could be drawn to play them???? in truth though I just hope that A. I can go to at least one leg B we don't get humiliated and C I can afford the away leg

been kinda interesting seeing the response of people asking why we cant get 14000 every week. I probably fall into the glory hunter category to many of you on here these days as I no longer have a season ticket and rarely manage to make it to games before you all start slating me let me just clarify some things :- since I last held a season ticket I have moved house into a private rent, left my job and am currently working agency work on no set pattern , have had a 3rd child , and taken on more responsibilities at the father in laws farm since the passing of my wifes grandfather. all of this adds up to a significant drain on finances and time. I would love to be able to attend every week but I find it hard to justify the best part of 300 pounds when I know I wont get my moneys worth out of it. it doesn't mean I support the club any less and the things I moved and sacrificed so that I could afford the final will make things awkward for a few weeks but that was a price I am prepared to pay as I wanted to see history. so go ahead and slate me all you want for not being in the stand for a 0-0 draw with partick but before you do have a look at my life and see what other things I might have going on , have a look and see what I have done in the past . I will be back maybe in a different level but I will also be bringing the next generation of fans with me as my son has said he wants to come and watch a game

my cynical side was considering this as actually a bit of a sales push along the lines of " look folks he is still here, so come on be good to us and give us a chance to replace him...you know we will sell" hope not though

on a slight tangent from this...hypothetical for you guys on here :- euro millions jackpot of say 50-60 million pounds comes your way....... would you donate some to the club and how much ? would you attach strings? personally I would happily pay 5 million to the club on the understanding I could have a family seat for life/100 years ( ie 2 tickets to pass down) and complimentary access to food drink at half time

hey folks planning treating myself and mrs tug to a game from the hospitality section next year but was wondering if I could get some pointers is it possible to go as a couple or do we need a full table? are there still various packages or has the club streamlined it ? what sort of price is the bar in hospitality? is the food any good ?

was it not usually the case that they would show one half of the infirm on the saturday and the other on the sunday in most cases? surely with that club that used to exsist now gone they will have less need to move games

not surprised at that as reguero has very poor english and after talking to malpas the other day he was saying some of the english guys struggle with the scottish accents

well we did actually include some tasks/exercises specifically designed to work on communication. ok it maybe wasn't with a ball at their feet but last time i watched them play they were like strangers. add to that a VERY thorough phys session and untold amounts of banter from the competitive side of things i think perhaps one or tow days out of pre season based around non footballing activities will probably do more good than harm

well today saw 24 players and 3 coaching staff attend a team bonding day at RAF Lossiemouth. the guys arrived and were given a welcome brief and split into four teams. the idea behind the four teams was to give an element of team bonding but also to give a competitive edge to the day. the first event lined up was a session in the gym run by the PTI's . it started with the guys shooting some basketball as a warm up and trying to score points for the section...... the less said about Ryans performance the better lol after that the guys had the real work. two teams competed in a crash mat race where they had to launch themselves onto a mat and make it slide along the gym floor. they then sprinted to the end of the gym before running back to tag the next team member. while the senior teams were battling out on the mats the two younger teams were put through there paces on a crossfit circuit. boy did they work 20 burpees to bar, 20 swiss ball pikes, 20 squat jumps to box , 20 press swing to dip 20 med ball toss and lastly 10 20m shuttles. the guys did themselves proud and worked hard throughout . after we finished in the gym the guys had a lesson on the rifle to prepare them for the afternoons activities. lunch in the mess was followed by the real meat of the day. once again the guys were in there four teams and we had a small round robbin set up for them team one went onto our indoor rifle trainer to try some shooting team two had a mental challenge (tower of hannoi) team three were put through there paces on a practice grenade stand, with points for accuracy through a target window... may of helped that we had pictures of the management team and the ross county crest in there lol team four had a drill lesson with the Flight Sergent and learnt how to march, the next couple of hours were spent rotating the guys through each of the stands while the coaching staff had the opportunity to asses the performance of the guys. once every team had completed all the stands a trophy was presented to the winning section by the station commander. once i can i will get some pictures uploaded but it has to be said i was really impressed by the guys today and it has raised my hope for the season
