  1. Good one, Dumpmaster.....  :022:

    +1

I'll back ICT whatever - that doesn't mean I am blinded into not having an opinion on this, but I feel if brew returns it certainly cannot be the worse appointment possible - despite the bad feeling that is apparent if he can pull off results then who cares? Added to that would you rather Malpass?? Who knows it may not turn out to be Brew but if it does I won't be booing - I'll just strap on a set of balls and deal with it

  2. I don't know - If Brew gets the job back i'll be dissapointed but I wouldn't boycott games. I guess I'll judge the new manager whoever it may be by their results, if Brew comes back and we somehow finish top 6 thenfair play to him, can i see that happeneing - NO. I think i'm gonna play this one by ear though, I'll still go and see ICT play as long as my Birth  Certificate Reads POB: Inverness. I understand where you guys are coming from and to an extent agree with you though.

  3. Just wondering, does the club shop still have a stock of those pink "Brewster's Babes" t-shirts? Or did they get punted off to Tannadice in the back of Proctor's car?

    LMAO!

Although I'd also prefer Brewster to return I think he's probably the best choice out of the 3 previous managers if one of them is going to get the job (Warnock is just a pipedream me thinks).

He also made a great signing in Dargo.

Realistically if Warnock is out of the equation who would you rather take the job than Brewster bearing in mind it will be VERY hard to attract a lot of guys up here?

  4. What an excellent 1st post.  :017:  The board (not just the director of football) will appoint the candidate they think best for the job.  Whoever that is, any true fan will get behind them and support the team, whatever their opinion.  Everyone deserves a chance.  A boycot won't make any difference other than you will miss the game.

    Very well said...

  5. Alright guys - new member to the forum - although i've been reading the threads for longer than I can remember. Anyway thought I'd say hi, I'm Richie - live in edinburgh (music student scum although I do work full time between terms and p/t the rest of the time) anywho I'm orginally from the sneck and make it to a few home games and made it to the jambo's away game last season aswell. Oh aye and before anyone asks - I'd rather warnock but it could just be a pipe dream...

  6. Charlie - The only manager who you knew would always give the club 100% while he was at the helm (and wouldn't bugger off to the first 'bigger' club who came knocking), a great player, a humble guy and someone who is a true ambassador for the club - here's hoping he stays on at the club in some capacity - he's a real asset to ICT.

  7. I hope both will be interviewed and considered.... but there are others who shouldn't be dismissed out of hand just yet....

Owen Coyle, Graham Rix, Mixu Pantyliner, Stephen Kenny......

If any of them are interested surely it would make sense to at least speak to them...?

Rix - Anyone but him, please... (Especially at a family club)

  8. I have to say that nostalgia pleads a case for Pele to return but what seems to stand out to me is the HUGE gamble that would be taken by his appointment at the club - not only is this a massive step up from peterhead on so many levels but shouldn't Inverness as a club be looking to activly move forwards and upwards. Weather we can afford the sheffield golden boy is another story and of course whoever we appoint there is going to be a gamble involved but I'm really not sure Pele is the man for the job. I don't like the idea of brewster or robbo coming back much at all but i have to say I can see the club going for Brewster out of those three - I hope not though.
