  1. Well i doubt many of you will know but tonight at 19:41, Inverness Caledonian Thistle confiscated my Season ticket at the turnstile. Guy who took it was supposed to and that i would need to speak to the club about so i went round to the club shop to find out why and i discover that the fecking thing hasnt been paid for 5 months. 5 Fecking months and not a single mention until tonight. No sign of any letter stating that a Direct Debit had been missed, not a whisper from Inverness Caledonian Thistle or Premium Credit about it and in a flash they take my ticket off me. So now, after that humiliating and embarrassing way they handled it, as of now, Inverness Caledoian Thistle can go f*ck themselves for the way they have treated a supporter who has followed the club when many kids growing up followed either side of the Old Firm because of parents or friends. Im getting rid of anything that has Inverness Caledonian Thistle to my name or in my household. I will never again set foot inside the Caledonian Stadium(unless by chance they draw Leeds United or Inter Milan in a european cup game). Never again will I support such a shitey run club, run by a bunch of f*cking backstabbing, turncoat w*nkers. this will be my last post under the name "caleykid" as ive already changed my email and Xbox Live gamertag. There are some people on here who i have enjoyed speaking and will miss the banter and chat from them and others who are just as bad as the tossers who run the club.

  2. I suppose I could.....but I will tell you now, there's no truth in the rumour that I'm getting Inverness Caledonian Thistle Football Club tattooed on my willie.....after all, what would I fill in he rest of the space with?

    "Pride of the Highlands" maybe?

  3. If the SPL was to change and allow a 16 team league meaning 30 games instead of the usual 38 then why not revamp either the scottish cup or league cup? A 4 team group phase for example. This would start having everyone from the third division right through to the SPL with a seeding system for dividing the groups out. This will add extra games and much needed revenue with the top 2 teams qualifying for the knockout stages which then turns into the regular cup as we know it either half as many teams.

Having those extra 8 saturdays off could then mean the League cup could be played on a saturday instead which may also improve crowds for those games.

I like that cup idea. Would probably bring in some much needed revenue for the lower ranked teams aswell. Good idea

  4. I think you would find McCoist involved in a big way, long before Butch got a call.

Yup, I think you're right. I also think, barring an unbelieveable collapse this season, that Smith would have to want to step aside: can't really see the Rangers support believing that Souness would better a better option, especially when he's unlikely to have an open chequebook to play with. Then again, there's nothing like a new regime for making cretinous football decisions, especially if the investors have a particular interest in one person...

Why would Smith need to step aside? Hes managing Rangers without a contract just aint he?

If they do want butcher then possibly we might get a few bob for him(not wanting him to go adn it wont be much either)

  5. With County and QoS challenging for div 1 along with us and Dundee is there a possibility that there will be no promotion due to technicality. I think that teams challenging for promotion must have a plan in place to meet the stadium standards by end March. Queens do have plans in place to build another stand and to convert terracing to seated and they believe all the work would be completed before the new season. Does County have a plan in place? As it is they'd need another 3,200 seats and I dont think either terrace has the capacity to put that number in. So that leaves groundshare but with who? Aberdeen? Cant see them wanting tenants. Their trying to nurse there ground as it is till new stadium built. St Johnston? SPL rules dictate they couldn't share with us.

County were supposed to be building(although never heard anything official) a 2 tier stand at the Jubilee end and building something similar to our stands at the Jailend to take it to 6,000+. They could groundshare with St Johnstone as its their only real alternative and i believe ICT kicked their groundsharing idea with us out before the SPL did.

As to who is financing their plans, it was well documented a few years ago that Mohammed Al-fayed(Fulham chairman) was wanting to invest in County and use them as a feeder team for Fulham as he was buying a place up there. Would summise that that's where they are getting the help financially.

  6. One of the things for me has always been that, whether you like County or not (probably not), having the Highland Derby in the SPL would be brilliant.

its a better game to watch compared to that crap ive had to endure in this celtic daft household each season :D

I dunno - I certainly didn't enjoy watching us get well and truly humped by Ross County in the first home derby game of this season :D

true but atleast we were beaten by a team who wanted the win, unlike the old firm which just played it to death and got lucky with that 93rd minute goal

  7. My cousin cant make the game tonight and is wondering will there be an open all mics tonight and if so on what frequency?

    Radio Scotland - 94.0FM

or Radio Nan Ghaidael(usually on the saturdays) dont know the frequency for it as i usually have it on either Sky or Freeview

  9. ISSUE - Prices, far too extortionate

ISSUE - Quality, food is cold by the time you eat them and burgers are too small(or buns are too big)

ISSUE & IDEA - Queues, terrible way that its set up and should be barriers inside to control and direct people to and around the food kiosk.

  10. Nor can they spell Danni Sanchez's name right. It has two Ns.

You are right of course. According to most sites, there are two N's, one in Dani, and one in Sanchez. Instead of criticising openly, do a little research, or has he told you personally that they all spell it wrong. Or am I wrong???

TM4TJ, you might want to look at that screenshot again. In the report it has one "n" but in the squad list on the right it has 2!

  11. Good theory and i will add that to these teams who think they'll lose out on OF money;

if the product changes then the SPL should be negotiating for a bigger sponsorship deal aswell as bigger TV rights & Marketing. These smaller teams will now have, in theory, easier games to pick up more points and thus if more money pours into the SPL then there wil be more money paid out the further up the league you will finish so it ends up a better product from the outside and very few teams will actually lose money.

  12. 34 years young !!!!! Even tho i feel 104 running after 3 kids ....Opssss i mean 2 kids and a husband !!!! And fit work in there.... I sometimes still asked for id in supermarkets.... And going into bars and clubs !!!!

think you were right 1st time

  13. Caley = Champions of Europe

Caley beat Celtic, Celtic beat Man Utd, Man Utd beat AC Milan, AC Milan = current European Champions

    so therefore

    Caley = Champions of Europe.

    Thats fact!

    Caley = World Champions

caley beat celtic, celtic beat liverpool, chelsea beat liverpool, barcelona beat chelsea, barcelona beat sau paulo.

    :P

  14. How many times have the OF stopped any changes going through?

unless they agree it wont happen.

But they need the Scottish game more than the Scottish game needs them. Time to call their bluff.

Now they do, seeing as England wont have them unless they agree to start from the bottom. I still cant see why they dont see the benefits as the OF game will again become a good game to watch. seeing it happen 4-7 times a season kinda takes the shine off it aswell.

And for the thing that the SPL have said about the seeking their own TV deals is bang out of order. Hopefully they will be stupid enough to do it and get expelled from the SPL.

  15. I would love this to happen but it wont. The OF carry too much power in voting shares. Every club is supposed to have 1 vote on a board if 12 and a 75% vote is needed for anything to pass. Unfortuanately the OF carry 5 votes each so if the other 10 voted yes and the OF vote no then its split 50/50 and nothing will happen. Has happened since the dawn of the SPL and until their voting power is removed there will be no chance of changing anything.

That can't be? Is it Legal? Is it Moral? Is it Fact? Surely not? FFS!

  17. Hello,

I remember the ness when i was about 16 in 1994, ages ago now...

I remember coots (?) the sports shop down academy street, the swimming pool near there as well, that little cafe in the market(you know who you are!), an arcade room i think opposite that desinger clothes shop lumo ladona... loads of good memories.. are these all still there?

Is it still the same old inverness, or has it's city status, influx of Europeans and other Brits, and whatever else changed it a lot?

It used to be so ordinary and plain which was it's best quality i think.....

Dont remember much of Coutts(although that was Church street wasnt it?)

The swimming poo, i was only ever i once and my parents then insisted on taking me and ma bro to elgin baths as it was more fun.

The cafe in the market(im assuming) you mean the cafe above Morrison's Bakers whihc was beside the old Viccy Wine.

I remember when Au Naturale used to be JJB

I remember when Sports Direct on Academy street used to be MFI]

I remember when church street was one way down instead of both meeting at Queensgate(curse the Streetscape)

I remember when the Eastgate extension used to be a cafr park(cant remember what was there before that though)

And ofcourse the big two, I remember there being two football stadiums, one in the crown and one on telford street...what ever happened to them? ;)

  18. In answer to the original question, i have believed(as this was drilled into me by my mum from a young age) thatthis country should adopt and "eye for an eye" attitude towards anything. These drug dealers who are caught, i believe should they be found guilty should have their OWN drugs pumped into them and leave them in a cell without any medicine to help the symptoms. When they learn their lesson the 1st time round(hopefully) they can be released, if they re commit the same offence then they should have a fatal overdose of the drugs injected into them and thus getting rid of said problem of dealers. Suppliers shoud get the same treatment and hopefully they will down the line, peiople will begin to look at the Drug trade as "not worth the money" in the end thus ending the drug problem in britain.

Now to find a place to get rid of all these bodies ? ;)

Have you ever thought of moving to Saudi Arabia?

Kinda hard to do with a passport that is nearly 6 years out of date. have no inclination to go anywhere abroad just now so canna be bothered to renew it.

Anyway, my idea is there as an opinion. Would you run the risk of having this done just to make a quick buck?

  19. Is ICT away record (where they don't boo) better than their home record (where they do)?.

You are there to support the team, sing the songs and enjoy the atmosphere. If you dont like the performance go and watch someone else. Or go and watch a highland league game and watch supporters who believe in their team regardless.

Maybe you could explain this to our ENTIRE support then. ;)
