  1. It is easily Saturday's for me. Nothing else has come even close. Infact I'm pretty sure that it's my favorite single goal since Paul Ritchie scored the 3rd vs St Johnstone.

It's our first ever Scottish Cup game against our biggest rivals, in Dingwall. Our fans had been singing all day and the atmosphere in our end was incredible. In contrast there was hardly a sound coming from the collection of traveling folk and farmers supposedly supporting the Highland's second team and we looked by far the better team. With 5 mins to go we are leading 2-1 and looking comfortable, job done, but then disaster strikes: Vigurs off all people scores with a huge deflection and in the third minute of injury time they get a dodgy free kick out wide which somehow we don't defend and they have put us out.

The shadows are delirious. Vigurs is the happiest man in Scotland (he has his revenge and he gleefully gestures to us all to show it). Adams is hugging everyone in in sight and jumping for joy (he's as happy as himself in his barn). And fecking Tokely, Ross Tokely 'club legend', a man upset at a wee bit off booing last month, is running around like he has won the Champions League, his joy at ICT's exit from the cup at the hands of county evident in his moronic grinning face.

Everyone is gutted, the look of delight on the gudgies faces is truly awful and the thought off heading back to the mallard for 2 hours until the next train is horrific. But then out of nowhere we have kicked off and OTJ has unleashed a strike from what seems like 40 yards out and we have a corner. 95 mins gone though so no chance surely? Yes chance. Corner comes in, someone heads it, Tokley has lost Foran, I can't see what the hell is is happening but the players are peeling away and the tinks are silent, OH MY GOD GOAL!!!!!

Bedlam in our stand, tears in the others. Tokely is truly devastated, Adams' daft wee baby face is contorted in pain and we are still in the cup.

    THE HIGHLANDS ARE OURS!  :ictscarf:

  2. Just looking at the actual article itself, I'm with Ross Tokely on this one. A club he has been with pretty much his whole career and a legend with the fans, you would think he would be welcomed back. I didn't realise that he was booed at the game as I wasn't at the game, but this is very disappointing.

I know he's playing for the county but even so, we should be respect him for his fantastic 16 years at Caley rather than booing him. The hundreds of games he has played in a Caley shirt for the cause. If Iain Stewart were up front and Jim Calder was in goals for Ross County would you be booing them?? I don't think so.

Barry Wilson was booed when he was at Livi, he never girned about it though, it wasn't exactly vicious. Its just booing a man we know trying to play well against us. The same with Tokely. There was hardly an angry chorus off booing, just a few folk then the odd thing shouted and everyone would have a wee laugh. The main shouts he got was people laughing at him for heading at the wrong goal.

Most importantly though in case you hadn't noticed he players for fecking Ross County now. Our biggest rivals. He should be booed by everyone while he is wearing that shirt. It doesn't mean you hate the guy personally or have forgotten how well he did playing with us but at the end off the day he now wants us to lose. What are you going to do if he scores on Sat? Celebrate?

I find it a bit embarrassing that some here worry about offending an ex player, but the man himself will be delighted if our club is out the cup at the hands off our biggest rivals on Saturday.

    Man up.

  3.

Considering County have 4,000 season ticket holders residing in Inverness its not a lot is it,  if you all book your seats they will have to add more carriages.

I don't think you can book seats on this one? They said in their latest tweet to me to "contact our CR dpt on 0845 601 5929 to log your comments or make a complaint".

I got an open return yesterday on eastcoast.co.uk and it let me book the outward journey seat.

Did it actually let you book seat between Inverness and Dingwall? I think you'll be lucky to get standing room let alone a booked seat.

Yeah just went and picked the tickets up and they have seat numbers for the Inverness - Dingwall leg. I'm not too fused about actually getting the seats but the fact I have them booked on that particular train on an open return should guarantee I get on that train even if its rammed.

  5. I agree with him. To go from the biggest legend we have ever had and people singing his praises to people shouting at him that he beats his wife in the space of a few months...

    Ehh?

The reason people sang his praises was because he was good at playing football and did it for a long time with our team. He did that because he got paid well to do so.

He no longer plays for us as he wasn't going to be paid so well, so chose to do the same thing for our biggest rivals instead.

I thought the booing was pretty mild really anyway. He is trying everything he can to beat us now so what did he expect? We are ICT fans not Ross Tokely fans.

  6. It is at this point we make a decision. Get on with it or strike. Unfortunately I am against strikes, as all they seem to do is cause chaos and nobody wins really. I am a firm believer in talking it through and coming to an amicable outcome. Striking IN MY OPINION is merely holding people to ransom. In every company there is a chain of command, this is there for a purpose.

Are you saying you are against strikes all together or just in this instance? If you mean all together (regardless of circumstance) then that is utterly ridiculous. And of course striking is holding people to ransom, there wouldn't be much point to it other wise, but it is nearly always a last resort.

Also what do you think would have happened in this instance if the referees had just complained to the SFA and stuck within the 'chain of command' as you put it? I'm going with nothing, same as with most companies. Are you in the army by any chance?

  7. Just to throw in my tuppence worth I too fully support the refs. I also abhor lennon's whiny ginger cheating face. The abuse the refs have been getting recently is ridiculous. The fact that most of this is coming from John Reid and Neil Lennon makes it all the worse.

  8. Strangely two of my favourite games were defeats. As mentioned before 4-3 Away at Livi. Also the 3-2 loss to Dundee Utd in the cup. I was only 12 I think, but I still remember Mark McCulloch's goal clear as day. I also remember Sieb Dykstra getting clattered in extra time, not sure why. Malpas played in that game btw.

  9. Any fan who wants to go to a cup final to support their biggest rivals is a disgrace to their club. I cant belive this is being discused. Would this happen with any other club? No, would it f***. Embarasing.

By the way, are you all going to join in when they sing 'stand up if you hate Caley' like they did for most the match against Hibs?

  10. Really, you have to lose this whole "we're superior fans because we make more noise" attitude. People support the team in a variety of ways and everyone should be made welcome and be (within reason) tolerant of how other people choose to support the team....that goes just as much for you tolerating those who don't wish to sing, as it does for those who don't sing tolerating those of you who do.

Good point well made. Bottom line is that the atmosphere at TCS is pathetic at best though. To be honest I dont think there is much that can be done about it because when the kids do start singing no one joins in and thats that. So, I cant blame section G for giving up - i would.

Its a shame though because if we had a stadium that was jumping every week it would motivate the players, help boost crowds and attract players. We must be the least inspiring team to play for.

This is my other team St Pauli -

Im not expecting us to be like that impressive but it would be pretty special playing infront of that every week!

  11. Shut up tokleyisvictorius. No one is agreeing with you so you are obviously wrong, just accept it.

P.S. Tokley is not victorius. Grow up.

    P.S. I'm a tit

    who's tokley by the way?

Pedantic fu*k. Also i told you to grow up, adding 'i'm a tit' to my quote is not growing up. Try to learn. And since your being so pedantic you should have added P.P.S. not P.S. before your hilarious and witty remark.

PS. Do you not feel a bit daft idolising another human being, especially an average (at best) right back from Aberdeen?
