Thought the sending off was justified as from my view my first thought was " that's us down to 10 men" dods appeared to lead with his elbow. Though caff as very good and wonder was it because he had to concentrate at all time against rangers, against dunfermiline he seemed to loose concentration a couple of times. caff is bound to be a bit rusty and it would do no harm to play him until the end of the season. It would be nice to see dods back as he has been a good servant to our club and has given his all, i am sure he also appreciates what ICT have done for him, but is there room for this kind of sentiment of playing one last game to say goodbye to the fans , as i think next season could be our hardest one yet?

Tokely is a dependable professional. He will never be the most skilful player, but what he does he does well. He has the occasional rush of blood to the head, but he is a crowd pleaser. He is a big guy and therefore it will take him that little bit to get up to speed and as that initial couple of yards is important he can sometimes get caught out, but not very often. Ivan Sproule is arguably the fastest player in the SPL remember that 3 goals against Rangers, he did not score on Saturday against us, some credit for that must be Tokelys. My brother pointed out that Tokely looks just as knackered after 5 minutes as he does after 90 minutes, but gives 100% for the whole game. We are Caley Thistle our players are the best we can afford and the loyalty shown by the Tokley types should not be underestimated. I would rather watch a player give 100% and get it wrong occasionally than watch players who don’t give their all. I try not to criticise players as they are only human but I always felt that Barry Robson could have done more for us on occasions when the chips were down. No matter the result I have never felt that Ross Tokley has given any less than his all. He should be given credit foe being a consistent performer.
  3. Thought it was poor show that the players did not bother to acknowledge the fans thought they might have gone roung d the pitch

Any form of bigotry is wrong, no question. The problem may be that although Rangers and Celtic are the main offenders they are not the only ones. Hearts, Hibs and many other teams have supporters who in the heat of the moment have let go a comment which dependant on the tone could be construed as been bigoted. The cost of policing this problem is enormous 45,000 arrests at the next old firm game? My opinion is that the bigots are a dying breed at football matches, any old timers like me who attended Parkhead or Ibrox in the 1970s would have noticed a great improvement in the number of party songs being sung when down there over the last couple of years. If the subject of Bigotry at football matches is not given the oxygen of publicity maybe it will have died out in the next 10 years. One thing that has puzzled me is that Rangers seem to be getting all the bad press apart from the damage to the bus at the recent European game I cant see any difference in the behaviour of either sets of old firm fans. I believe their was a spot of trouble with the Celtic fans in Coventry the other night. What I'm trying to say is that this is not footballs problem, football is an outlet but it is society's problem and should be addressed in the home, at school, by the Churches, etc.
