  1. I thought he was very poor. Contributed nothing going forward or defending in the first half; struggling to even get a touch of the ball. In the second half he was more heavily involved, but still struggled to beat his man; instead letting Rossco make the forward runs. Would much rather the likes of Imrie or Hayes playing there. Well Ross P were u away getting a pie when he flicked it over the defenders head and picked a pass or got in behind the defence and fizzed the ball across the goal for hayes to tap in if he wasn't hiding behind his marker, or the time he used his pace to disposses his opponent during a dangerous counter attack. Were u away getting a bovril when he tucked in to central mid (around 5 times) when the ball was on the opposite wing to time a tackle and regain possession for the team. without doing that Raith would have had a few more chances. Finally it was his stamina that allowed him to support Rooney and score the goal.
  2. Duncan protects the back four, maybe he needed to be taken out of his comfort zone and made to fight but not for that long he definitley should be playing. Roy's ball retention is good and he will deliver quality crosses and telling passes. He has won the first division and been in a team that played in SPL for several seasons.
  3. ESSON PROCTOR TOKELY MUNRO GOLABEK DUNCAN HAYES COX MCBAIN ROONEY FORAN Duncan protects back four well. Mcbain for his good ball retention and quality crosses. Rooney is a good all round striker. Works hard and can finish if given a run/confidence. Against dunfermline he continously controlled the ball from kick-outs turned and ran at the defence all the time with a centre half tight to him. The best players in the world struggle to do this. Barrowman can play up top and foran in for hayes who may need a rest as he is often too quiet. Terry's new signings need to fight for their places rather than made first team regulars. The above team and many on the bench and stand have earned their places and won big SPL and SFL games in the past, and of course the first division.
  4. Give Bazza a run in the team, his match sharpness will return. We need his quality to keep secure possession of the ball (you very rarely see him waste the ball which is a great quality) and play some decent crosses into the box.
  5. celtic1caley3 - you've highlighted the un-merited abuse managers get- well done. Brewster demonstrated his ability to manage ICT in his previous spell, and kept them where they strive to be when he arrived and steadied the ship last season. In his previous spell he showed he can discover new players by signing Vigurs and Wood from Elgin. He also brought Conway to D.utd and he is one of their best performers. On his return he secured the services of Duff, Vigurs and Wood which can only be good for the long term as they are all good players. Currently we are only 3 points off the top six. RIG your right lets put this topic to bed and get behind the management and players'.
  6. BREWSTER IS THE MAN FOR THE JOB FIRSTLY - Craig Brewster had a long and successful playing career. The players' will undoubtebly have the upmost respect for him for this reason alone. SECONDLY - Craig Brewster's ability was highlighted on numerous occassions when he played for Caley and he put a player of Marius Nicolae's calibre to shame, putting in a much more commanding and productive display. THIRDLY - Craig Brewster is an intelligent and articulate man. With this in mind he will be able to pass on all his experience and knowledge. With these key ingredients he has all the credentials and is the right man for the job. The players respect Brewster, its time for the few so-called fans to start respecting him too. Let's be realistic SPL football is the ICT dream and Brewster is the man to keep that dream alive. I urge the ICT family to get behind the players and the management, you are the proverbial twelve man so lets all stick together and silence the very few that don't have your club's best interest at heart.
