  1. No it wouldnt. Im sure he would count himself very very fortunate to get a job back in football at a club he supposedly loves. Anyway, i wouldnt want him back at the club, and i wish people would stop posting who managers should appoint as their assistant. Im tired reading that Pele, Dunc, CC, Barry etc etc should all have roles at the club. Lose the 'jobs for the boys' mentality. Yes, we would all rather have someone who had a 'love for the club' but football doesnt work like this. Get the best man in for the job, and let him appoint the man he feels will best support him doing his job.
  2. "How much do you want the job" Clearly not enough to dedicate myself to it whole-heartedly! George Burley: "Terry, you guys are playing Falkirk this weekend, can you keep an eye on Darren Barr, especially when ICT have the ball, not sure if he has the positional sense to play at international level?" TB, after weighing up his wage packets of ?100,000 at the SFA, and ?80,000 at ICT, gladly agrees and instructs Malpas to keep an eye on what we are doing when going forward. I vote for Knox!
  3. Sammy Lee. Great Ass't Manager at both International & Club Level, but when he wa given a Club Mangers job (Bolton) he rightfullly stepped down from his International role (or did Capello give him the boot - cant remember). I would hope TB did the same (if appointed)
  4. If Brew were to go, whether it be of his own accord or that of the Board, I would, as I always do in these footballing circumstances, feel very sorry for the 'staff', who would likely lose their jobs as most new Managers tend to form their own Backroom team - a bit like CB did at United. Mind you, this would probably require extensive 'pay-offs' which ICT may not be prepared to do. Then again, any new Boss may not feel the need to change anyone.
  5. Extra incentive for Bryan Prunty to seek revenge!
