Good news. I recall lots of us joining Terry Butcher and his dog clearing the pitch to make sure we could play Dundee. We then lost!!
A squad of our guys helped that day, sure it was 1-1 draw?

TIcketyboo mate ? Lost a bit of the passion for fitba after all the constant shecht, pricing, stewarding etcetc but still keep an eye out and go along when the Dee are “oop north” or if i’m visting home, enjoy yer day ?

Enjoy yer day out in peh city guys,McCann has us trying to play good football and it’s great to watch when it’s working but can be a bit nervy at times from a home fan perspective. Ability ( or lack of) to score has been the main reason we are where we are in the league, interesting match, pretty even i reckon but fingers crossed we have enough quality to see you off! Wouldn’t be surprised to see a replay up here.
? Hi Mannie x

It's part of the whole nonsense of being a 'fan' now at any top-flight club anywhere, or indeed at all major sports and concerts. I used to take a camera along to away games when we were in the old First Division and supply a couple of shots to Bryan Munro for next week's match programme. Even at home games I used to get action shots for this website. That all had to end when we got into the SPL where they had pro photographers at every game anyway.
Your involvement in the game or 'event' is supposed to extend as far as buying your ticket and merchandise and concession stall food, then sitting down and watching the 'event' and generally being a good consumer and going home happy at the end. It's why I've been at only 15 ICT games this season and two or three ridiculously overpriced English matches. The other 40 or so have been non-League where you can stand and have a pint or walk around during a game and mix with opposing supporters and even chat to the players afterwards.
100% my thoughts Mantis, scunnered with the "organisation" from top to bottom,no craic or fun attending games these days, no atmosphere, policed to death."Gie's yer money, sit down, shut up"
Saturdays generally spent in other pusuits these days.

Aye, used to have some top laughs on here, several at my expense during "That season"
As an outsider i particularly enjoyed the "Cyril" period and IHE's sleuth like endeavours to track him down. Always good natured stuff though in the main, good to see a few names still about- 1

If he does it again he should be banned for life!!

I don't have a huge amount of sympathy for Liverpool, they took a gamble to keep him on after the Ivanovic bite,I strongly disagreed at the time but they seemed to have got their rewards for that decision last season, however, the mental side of Saurez has let himself and team down badly once again.Football genius, but mental basket case.
-
They may be brilliant but Balotelli and Saurez both showed the worst sides of their nature in tonight's game. Shame Italy bow out but the accepted world order seems to be changing!

Think that tattoo summed up a lot of Arabs who turned up expecting a stroll in the park, most were convinced it was won before the event.
-
Always Dee-lighted when any club outside the OF (or whatever we call them these days) wins one of the cups, being the only realistic chance of winning anything in a massively skewed league. Particularly pleased for the Perth saintess given who they beat in the final!
-
Portugal, as I've had some braw holibags in Lisbon. :-)

Probly best no to go into too much detail "rite enuff" as ya say up here ;-)

Cheers Mannie, eh'm touched! Bad planning by my travel secretary means I'm sunning myself in Tennerife and wasn't even at the gemme, but got live stream working in the pub much to the amusement of locals and staff who wondered what the excitement and frenzy was all about! As word of the bizarre Accies-Morton score filtered through and Dumbarton scored it had nightmare finish written all over it, thankfully not and hectic night in Las Americas ensued with mate and wives. See ya next year in the Innes/ Caley club :-)))))
