And you had the cheek to criticise billy reid! Could do without another inexperienced manager!

There's getting an experienced manager but Billy Reid - Lol

  2. Keeping the season tickets at premiership level will drop the average attendance at matches. Obviously it will go down that we ain't playing the Old Firm, County and Edinburgh teams regularly, but this may put regular season ticket holders off. Like others have said, we currently have 10 outfield players with no manager (with no signs of anyone coming soon).

Are fans really going to get their money's worth - doubt it.

I understand that Henrik Larsson travel to Inverness following the celtic legends game at the weekend to express his interest in the position

Would be happy if true IMO

By my understanding, Telfer came with some very good references (one from Martin O'Neill as I recall) and interviewed very well, hence why he got into the final round of interviews when Butcher went.  Apparently as well, he was manager of Sutton United in everything but name as the owner at that time wanted to keep the manager title for himself.  I think he'd suit us actually.

Out of interest, what has Telfer done since then?

  5. The current situation that we find ourselves in reminds me of the time when we could have got Paul Hartley in as manager. I recall being told that Kenny Cameron was reluctant to go ahead appointing Hartley due to his inexperience of handling a team in a relegation battle having only seen his Alloa team promoted twice in his tenure there. It will be interesting to know what Kenny Cameron's thoughts are towards the current run of form but I can't help but think Richie's managerial inexperience will be our own downfall.

If we are keen to stick with Richie, he needs experienced help in the form of a director of football and Terry Butcher is that man.

  6. Last night was my first game since October vs Rangers due to work commitments. The performance in the first half was quite good from us and I genuinely felt that we could have been coasting by a couple goal, it was fair to say the luck was against us on that part.

What I found disappointing from our side was a mixture of good players under- performing and also our managers tactics and the use of subs. The recruiting this season hasn't been at all bad, Brad McKay was outstanding majority of the game I felt. Liam Polworth was played out of position and often wasted out wide.  As the game was going on, it was getting more and more apparent that we are lacking a creative spark that has been missing since Christies and Andy Shinnies departure from the club.

One thing that I had taken from the game is that Richie's inexperience is starting to show since we are in a rut. From memory, Kenny Cameron wasn't in favour of choosing Paul Hartley due to never experiencing managing a team that's facing relegation. I instantly thought about this and for all his faults, I would like to see Butcher in a Director of Football role to assist Richie for the good of the club. (More chance of pigs flying etc)

Main thing to take from yesterday, there's a team looking devoid of confidence and we need a massive morale boost, starting Saturday?!
