  1. OK I don't post on here very often and with good reason. Since the start of the season a certain proportion of ICT fans have and continue to act in an unacceptable manner to the players and management. Negative shouts and abusive comments rain down on the players and management at what seems like every opportunity during match days doing nothing to fill them with confidence. Ridiculous shouts of 'Get the ball up the park' and 'Change it' just highlights some 'supporters' lack of understanding of the game. These are the same idiotic shouts that I used to here during the Highland League days!! ICT don't have a devine right to just kick the ball up the pitch and score every time why is this so hard for some to understand? I even found myself today telling one guy to sit down and shout up because of the foul and abusive language he was directing at the players and management. I never thought I'd see our fans turning on our own like that and that makes me sick. Perhpas the reason for our teams vastly improved away performances and consquently results is in apart that they hear less nonsense from away supporters! Maybe if the home fans were to direct more encouragement towards the players then we might see a reaction from the players and the performances/results may improve........but I think that isn't very likley.
  2. Not sure on current availability of tickets but I have a spare single ticket for the main stand Section B Lower section (although its for the very top row of this section) available for face value (?15) if anyone is interested??
  3. Heard from Rankin's neighbour that he and Donald Park had a major falling out and that Rankin now wants to move on.
  4. See that the bbc gossip section has McCaffery down as a possible january transfer target for Partick. (Not sure if the link will work, never included one in a post before.) Think he would be a loss to the squad if it's true and actually happens given we're not the strongest at the back right now. So if this does come about what kind of fee should we be looking for? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/g...ers/7077473.stm
  5. Scotty, the club or perhaps the manufacturer, I'm not sure who as yet, has got my surname totally wrong. How does somebody confuse Davidson (my correct surname) with 'Morrison'!!! To be totally honest I couldn't care less if my name had been on the front or back, repeated or not, covered by a players name or their number.....all I, or more importantly my girlfriend, signed up to was having my, correct name, on the commemorative shirt as advertised and offered by the club for the sum of ?100. Is it seriously to much to ask for somebody to just do their job correctly?
  6. SMEE, only getting a signed new home top plus the ?100 back though I think I'll ask for the black top too given the situation.
  7. I totally agree with what your saying SMEE but in all honest I can't see either the club getting ERREA making a one off top now for me, though I would love to think so... :014: When the prime selling point of these tops was that fans were going to get their names on them surely the list of names would be checked and then checked again? Forgot to mention in my post that I am, well my girlfriend, is getting her ?100 back plus there's the ?10 voucher. BUT to me the money etc is not the point. All I want is the black top with my name on it, simple as that. Would urge all others who ordered this top to check for their names.......
  8. Well wouldn't go and know it......the club have screwed up my top, oh aye that will be every other black top as well!!!! Just taken a phone call from the club informing me that they've put the wrong surname down for me. The top was my 30th birthday gift, so it was going to be a good double celebration. To say I'm raging in a serious understatement especially as this was marketed as the once in a life time opportunity to have your name on the top and "An ideal gift for any ICT fan you can be part of the clubs history with this limited edition shirt. Your name can be incorporated into the fabric of the new top by the shirt manufacturer, Errea" Well thanks very much for making a complete and utter mess of this; the compensation you offered, a new signed home top, is, in my estimation, way short of the original product offered and happily paid for. Yours, an extremely hacked off ICT fan
  9. Yeah read that as well on teletex Kencar. As you say its a great shame.........ICT curse strikes again???
  10. Have to say I rate Morgan highly. Under Brewster he played a fair number of games and got good praise for his performances. I think he's an intelligent player who knows when to hold onto the ball and he's direct, like Barry Wilson, when running with the ball at his feet. Maybe if he applied himself a bit more he would oust McBain who doesn't really do much on the pitch in my opinion. Ah Zander reminds of Caley's left sided winger Wilson Robertson. Exciting to watch when he has the ball at his feet, determined and never gives up. You could see the skill and tricks he has on Saturday when he beat tinks with a little jink and step over. Think this is going to be a big season for him especially as he's only under contract for another year!
  11. As its likely that Brown, Dargo and Dods will all leave between now and the end of the season I would suggest the following potential replacements: David Marshall from Celtic - Well he ain't getting a game for the hoops and it looks unlikely that he will displace the Pole, David Kennedy from Celtic - Yes he's still recovering form the knee injury but I think by the start of next season he could be back training with the Celtic first and it would be a great opportunity for him to regain some form and more importantly his fitness I agree with Dan - Kirk Broadfot would be a very good signing. Darrel Duffy as a replacement for Dargo - Not too sure what as happened to him but I think he has been sent out on loan by Hull. Good turn of pace, decent touch and a great finisher from memory.
  12. Not sure if he has actually signed the pre-contract but according to Sportsound he has agreed to sign. Three questions then: 1 - Should ICT look to sell Dods for a nominal fee or let his contract run until the summer? 2 - Should CC continue to play Dods or start to play Stuart McCaffery? 3 - Who should ICT be looking to sign as Dods' replacement? I think he should be sold as we never paid anything for him when Robbo signed him and this would represent a good bit of business not to mention some extra funds and wage money for a suitable replacement, this would also allow CC to start playing Stuart McCaffery. I would go so far as to say that if any of the three players out of contract this summer sign pre-contract agreements then they shouldn't be played and instead their respective understudies should be given as much first team experience as possible. On Dods' replacement - no names immediatley spring to mind but maube Celtic could loan us David Kennedy for next season.
