  1. sorry lads, i was just sitting around bored today and thought after the refs performance yesterday id come on here and maybe get a wee sensible debate going but i can see that's not going to happen so bye
  2. As i said in the match thread I'm a Celtic fan, i thought that this would be relevant with yet another honest mistake in Rangers favour yesterday. I know most fans outside of the old firm think that the old firm always get all the decisions but i cant really think of any dodgy decisions that Celtic have benefited from over the last three seasons, now i know that they probably have benefited from some somewhere along the line but i wouldn't have noticed them as im biased in favour of Celtic however i strongly doubt that they or any other club in Scotland have benefited from anywhere near the same amount of blatantly wrong decisions as Rangers have at a time when it has been essential for Rangers very existence that they make the champions league. Now put yourself in the refs shoes, if you supported Rangers and you knew if they didn't get into the champions league they could go bankrupt would you be able to turn down a penalty claim from Rangers or would you find yourself looking for reasons to give them penalties or to chop of goals for the other team? Another thing is aren't refs supposed to be marked down for poor performances and be demoted if they keep performing badly? How then was Dougie Mcdonald allowed to keep on making mistakes in Rangers favour without being demoted? Could people please click on the following link, read the article then post your views on the subject http://top50honestmistakes.blogspot.com/
  3. Think you should have another look at that on youtube m8, the Dundee United player pulls at hooper until he spins around then the keeper takes him out after Hooper knocks the ball away thats 2 reasons for giving a penalty within seconds but he can still think of a reason not to give it.
  4. Thats why i asked if you could give me examples of dodgy decisions that have went in favour of Celtic, i know they will happen but most of the time i wouldnt see them as im bias in favour of celtic. What was it that our man done to get the refs in a sweat?
  5. Hi lads, Celtic fan here I just came on to see what yous think about the refs in Scotland ? we Celtic fans are known for being paranoid but over the last couple of seasons the amount of dodgy decisions that have went in Rangers favour has been shocking and its not just Celtic who suffer because of it, i think every other club in the SPL has suffered a few honest mistakes over the last couple of seasons. The refs went on strike because they don't want people questioning their integrity but how can you not question their integrity when you get performances like yesterday, it took the ref ages to book Miller when he was up moaning at him the whole game, then when Foran complains about a free kick after Mcculloch dived out comes the yellow straight away. The Rangers players just started throwing themselves to the floor at every opportunity in the second half and the ref just kept giving them free kicks, then came the penalty which was a complete joke, when Beatie received the ball he was offside then he just throws himself to the ground it was almost identical to when Broadfoot dived against Celtic and in both instances the refs were pretty happy to give Rangers penalties(even though the ref during the Celtic game clearly didn't even see the incident). I also remember Terry Butcher after the game at Ibrox when asked about a penalty that yous should have got he replied something along the lines of " yes i thought it was a penalty but you just don't get those at Ibrox". Do yous think the refs are pro Rangers or just generally pro old firm? If pro old firm can yous tell me of any dodgy decisions that have went in Celtics favour against yous? There is a list of honest mistakes that have went in rangers favour over the last 18 months stoating about the internet, i will get it and post it if yous are interested in a read. Finally i would just like to congratulate yous on how well your team is doing, by the looks of it its going to be between yous and Hearts for third spot and that is a fantastic achievement after just getting promoted at the beginning of the season, Terry Butcher is doing a fantastic job.
