Everyone can see how good Rooney is but deep down I know he is too good for this league.

Wee Kev's OK going forward but he's a pretty hesitant/uncommitted defender IMO. I don't know how often he actually played for Hibs to give people an opinion. Maybe Rankin's another guy like Rooney who did well here. ICT have a habit of getting the right people running the club, the right spirit at the club, and great commitment from pretty average players. That goes a long long way and is how we keep up with far larger clubs like Hibs and Aberdeen.

greetings from Edinburgh guys, just a Hibs fan interested to see what the rumours are up in your neck of the woods So far its nothing more than a rumour, but all Hibs fans are desperate for this to happen cos we are desperately short up front. as far as money is concerned I dont know what you guys are paying him but I believe that Riordan and Miller are the top earners at around 4k a week If Nish is to be included in the deal then I pity you, he is probably a 1/4 of the player Rooney is and is hopeless in the air for a man his size, rarely hold the ball up and is worse than Lee Miller at falling on his behind. if I was Butcher I would push for wee Kev McCann to be part of it, he is an excellent prospect and most of us were bamboozled when Yogi let him join you on loan. PS, you can have Rankin back too if you want
