  1. Don't criticise any players on here you will have the red dot brigade after you, Wedderburn is easily one of the worst players i have seen play for us and i have no idea what hughes saw in him to sign him

  2. One of the worrying aspects of this is the lack of faith being shown in our two young strikers Sutherland and Ferguson.  Despite our lack of replacements for Mckay and Watkins, neither of the youngsters was even on the bench for either of the Astra games and we seemed to be one short on the bench in Romania.  Maybe they are both out injured but surely this would have given options.

I've heard it said that Yogi is reluctant to play youngsters before they are ready .  I certainly agree that unrealistic expectations can put a lot of pressure on youngsters but if they are good enough they are good enough.  If either or both of them was fit or available I can't think of anything that would dent their confidence more than seeing that empty space on the bench whilst the manager allows a new signing to play the full 90 minutes in stifling heat when, by his own admission, Lopez is not match fit.

Calum Ferguson posted on twitter a couple of weeks back he's injured not sure if hes still out and i though sutherland was more of a winger?

  3. Tremarco is alright would rather we got another player in

there was a news article not long ago saying that the reason we brought in ryan baptie was because shinnie was leaving, not sure if yogi is going to give him a chance

unsure about mccourt think his wages would put us out of contention anyway

You are in the minority. It has been a great advert for the club - witty, funny and informative. I think you are misreading entirely the tone of it, and the way it speaks to people - it's a certain style which many are familiar with from blogs, tweets and social media, and is more clever than you think. Long may it continue. That feed during the semifinal was classic, and played its part in the huge enjoyment of the day.

I may well be older, and indeed, now in the minority. However, the Scottish Cup final is a bigger deal for those of us who watched games at Telford Street, Kingsmills Park and beyond.

Much of our core support are youthful and are a massive part of the club's future - they have grown-up with, and embrace 'social media'.

But there's also a significant proportion who haven't.

I heard about the twitter feed from the game on Radio 4 Sports desk - and believe me it was NOT complimentary!

We were spoken about with disdain, and the chuckles of embarrassment were quite excruciating - and frankly, they were taking the ****.

Sometimes, all publicity is not good! I doubt they'd still be calling us "little Inverness ceilidh" if we perhaps presented ourselves a bit more professionally on these 'platforms'.

Sorry but the cup final is a bigger deal for you because you watched games before a lot of our support was even born?

A lot of my mates from school and uni have text me saying the twitter is brilliant and they wish their teams was a lot more like ours

  5. I can't think of anyone - certainly recently - obviously plenty in pre-season games. Most recently being Ayina against Clach.

    I've got a question, though.!

In the early days of ICT in the '3rd division', I worked in Aberdeen and rarely made it home for games. The few I did, I would join Iain Stewart, Steve Paterson and Ross Tokely etc. waiting at the '6N' platform! (by 'join'  I mean, they were there and so was I!)

But when I could, I'd go to Forfar, Montrose etc and ended up having been to more away games than home matches until about 1999.

Has anybody, after 20 years, been to more away ICT games than home? I know for our Coventry contingent, every game's away! But you know what I mean!

A fan who went to Uni in Glasgow/Edinburgh but who rarely comes 'home' perhaps? It's a long shot!

Me! I live just outside edinburgh and support inverness cause my dad lived up north.

So i mainly only go to away games, however try to make at least 2/3 home games a season

  6. watched a bit of the game between lectures today

Hearts were the dominant side and most of the football was being played in our half by hearts

I unfortunately only seen one of the goals and the goalie(hobban?) just seemed to get a hand to it before it looped into the net anyway

As has been mentioned a lot of the hearts side had first team experience

ferguson looked to be causing some trouble to the hearts defence with his pace and movement, was also quite impressed with Ryan baptie whom I think may have been playing in a more advanced role

Lewis Horner however seemed to be out of his depth even at that level

  7.

Looks as though he has closed his account now, not very clever from him.

Yes, I had his tweets page open, left my PC for a half-hour, and it was gone when I came back.  Either someone's had a word, or the account's been suspended.

He closed his account after getting abuse from a lot of people, not very good publicity for the club if a player is saying such things on a social network.
