  1. Hi all ,have'nt been on for a while but followed your progress this season  2nd in Premier and going well !! What effect has Rangers had on you ie gates League position??.

You mean The Rangers. Rangers played their last ever game last season

  2. As most of us know Neil Lennon has already said that he will take a "weakened" squad up to Inverness on Saturday.

This means that we should try and take advantage of this and get three points considering it will probably be about the same squad that played against Arbroath at Parkhead and could only manage a draw.

What would you be happy with after the final whistle is blown?

  3. BBC picking this story up now.

Inverness are seeking clarification over the eligibility of Hearts player Danny Wilson for last Saturday's League Cup semi-final.

The Highland side failed to reach their first major cup final, losing to Hearts on penalties at Easter Road .

The query relates to a suspension he picked up whilst with Rangers in 2010.

"As a result of discussions that have taken place, the club will be seeking further details and an explanation," said an Inverness CT statement.

The Scottish Football Association yesterday stated that Wilson was eligible to play, but it's unclear as to when the one-game ban was served.

Wilson's ban, specifically for one Scottish League Cup game , is recorded in SFA documentation dated March 2010.

The 21-year-old was sent off in the 2010 League Cup final, as a nine-man Rangers team defeated St Mirren .

The defender moved to Liverpool before the suspension could be served, but the Inverness statement continued: "There was no notice of suspension accompanying his registration paperwork when he returned from Liverpool."

Wilson's Liverpool debut came in an English League Cup tie at home against Northampton.

Should there be no confirmation of when Wilson served his ban, it is possible that the Highland side could challenge the outcome of the match.

Fingers crossed there is no confirmation

  4. So let me get this straight.  Hearts thought there might be a problem in the eligibility of one Daniel Wilson.  The cup organisers gave the go-ahead to play him in the game, because they "couldn't find the piece of paper where it said he was banned".  Why did Hearts just end it there?  There was nothing to stop them from looking at every possible avenue to find out whether or not what the SFL had told them was correct.  They could even have gone back after finding that he had a suspension to serve and shouldn't be played, upon which the SFL would discover their mistake, announce him as suspended and no-one would have batted an eyelid.  Instead they've waltzed on and left this huge mess behind them that could be fatal for their cup hopes.

There must be something done and a replay of the game is the minimum we should settle for.

And the replay should be played up in Inverness to make it fair.
