  1. Some thoughts:

Thought we set up far too defensive in the first half. Didn’t seem to be an out ball at any point. Kyogo’s movement for the goal was sublime.

Second half was much better. Pressed more, had some players make runs. Second goal was just stupid to concede though, two rash challenges that took players out of position.

If you are going to score a goal in a final, a diving header in the sun is one way to do it.

I’ll need to see the third again, but looked like comical defending.

Was great to see what I thought was a strong outing for the support. But I can’t see us doing well with crowds next year if that’s the football on offer. We resorted to hoof ball a lot.

  2. Finished 3-1.

Second half got very scrappy, few stood out but nothing spectacular. First half was much fine, definitely need to be better then that otherwise Celtic will spank us.

Was good to get to see the lads plays again. Looked like we had almost as many fans as Dungannon there.

  3. It's looking like the Montford and the Beechwood are likely to be booked out with the arriving coach parties, so any suggestions for a city centre venue for those of us flying in and getting the train out of Glasgow Central?

Hootenanny on St Enoch is good

  4. That's a shame. Guess I won't see you guys pre match then

Well there could always be an exchange of bands or a wee fee fer a personal appearance ?

Will probably stick to The Hoot at St Enochs before the game. God Knows where I will be after

  5. Ticket sales may be a 'distraction' for Charlie Bannerman but they are of interest to many other fans. Good ticket sales builds interest and can produce a snowball effect. Good on Falkirk for releasing their numbers today, I wish we were not so anal about releasing sales figures

Wholeheartedly agree. Club should publish the progress of CF ticket sales.

We are a small fan base club and should be open about this. I feel that the fairweather fans wil relish the glory on the day but for whatever reason don't/won't go TCS for the less "glamorous" league games.

I would love to go to as many home games (and away games) as possible, but personal circumstances dictate otherwise. I think you will find that there will be a lot of fans who used to go to matches but for whatever reason are now living overseas who are making a trip especially for this game.

If you are suggesting that there was an element of glory hunting to a lot of fans going to the final, I think you should be careful in alienating them.
