  1. I'd like to thank the academy, the fans, the 17 producers who worked on the message and our lord and saviour Spaghetti Monster.
  2. I got one of those red thumbs down things for asking a question and explaining what happened with that steward on a thread i made. Haha This is one of many reasons why I stay off forums.
  3. Didn't help matters? I didn't say i was being abusive or anything, the point I was making was I clearly didn't appreciate the threat of being chucked out for defending a young fan who had done nothing wrong. Considering security thanked me for my help in the situation, as did the fan in question, I think i definitely did help matters. ;) I didn't get his security number, however the security I spoke to where more than familiar with who it was so I am sure they could easily inform the club if asked. It was the security supervisor who removed the security staff member. Like I said, the rest of the security team did an excellent job. They always do when i attend matches.
  4. the one thing I would question from this is if the points do not matter as Dundee Utd are already down, surely deducting points is pointless anyway? a more effective punishment would have been a larger fine or deducting points next season. However, if we are being awarded a 3-0 win as I have heard all over the internet, surely that should change our goal difference and points, otherwise why even award the scoreline? I do agree we should focus on our remaining games though.
  5. Does anyone know what happened to that security guy from our last home game? Was any action taken? As I heard from several sources(including other security staff) that it is not the first time he has kicked off for trivial reasons. I should note the other security staff tackled a tricky situation rather well. For anyone wondering why the security guard felt the need to give the young lad in the North Stand hassle, he took issue to the fan wearing a scarf and hood on his head whilst sitting quietly in the stand.(it was a cold day and the young team there where not causing any trouble) When he refused to remove the scarf the security guard threatened to throw the fan out, at which point I stood up and approached the security staff member pointing out it was cold and the fan was doing nothing wrong. He then threatened to throw me out of the stadium for defending the young lad, I told him to calm down and the security teams supervisor came over and calmly removed the security staff member from the location he was working and replaced him with another. I'm not one to call for people to lose jobs or anything, and I am not suggesting that, but I seriously hope he was at least given a proper talking to as I was visibly shaking with anger when he threatened throwing me out for defending a fan and asking him to use his head.
  6. Hello Guys, I hope you are all doing well and the nails still exist on your hands from biting them these last few games. End of season is coming and we are guaranteed top 6 and who knows how higher :) So I wanted to run an idea past you all that I was also going to approach the club with. Essentially an end of season video, with players, staff and fans in the footage, some highlights of awesome goals from this season etc etc I know this hardly seems the priority of the club but I want to approach this in the way I see it. So give me a chance to explain my reasoning. The crowds at the Stadium are loud and fun, but we can be more loud and more fun. Simply with more numbers. I'm not saying not enough people attend games and I know i shouldn't throw stones in glass houses... but its not a dig. What I am suggesting is fans like myself and anyone reading this should be proactive in getting more locals to the games... friends, families, the lot.. show that we truly are the "Pride of the Highlands". So where does the video tie in?? Simple... PROMOTION. Show people the best of the club, on the pitch and off it and most importantly show off the supporters. We are a young club, we can break the mould of what supporters are to a club, we can help ICT move forward even more. Imagine 1000 supporters sharing a video... the reach of it. Hell if you are sceptical I am the "musician wanting to use the club for promotion", do the bloody video to Titanium, I just wanna help bring my skill sets to the club and to you all. What do you guys think? Oh, and hello! haha
