  1. Forget astro turfs. Forget attracting players. Forget commute times. What this move from the board says loud and clear is 'Inverness isn't a good place to live.' This message is damning to our supporters who put in more miles than any other in the championship last season. More financial commitment and more time commitment. We deserve to be treated as a COMMUNITY. More so than any other team. I'm aware of the troubles managers have had in the past, as we had around the turn of the century the last time.we were in this division, except with a lot more optimism for being in it. Success for a football team in scotland isn't judged on how many trophies you win. That is reserved for only two teams. Success for a football team in scotland looks like this;

1 - A strong, vibrant fan base who feel a part of the club, who ARE the club, involved in the care taking of that club. moving the club forward hand in hand with positive momentum.

2 - The potential for European football to get excited about, and boost the clubs coffers.

This move signals a complete lack of care of what it means to be a community football club, for the basic reason is that it is no longer a community football club. There is no hand in hand positive momentum, I can't be the only one who feels so much bad towards the current regime that I'd like to see us, almost, on the brink of judgement Day. just so it would see Messrs Morrison, Ferguson and firstly Gardiner forcibly removed from this club and dropped off on the hard shoulder on the A9 down to Kelty. The ONLY way I can see through this, is if we stick together. BACK THE TRUST. And fight through this. Remembering that we were here before These clowns in charge, and we will be here long after, when they are a conversation piece about the darkest days of our proud clubs history, and how we overcame them as a united front.

  2. Not a happy clapper but by going off 'stronger together' thread on here it sounds like the relationship between the trust and the board are improving. I just pray that the trust are able to bridge the chasm between the club and the fans. Stadium looks and feels soul-less and without character, as many stadiums do when they are built out of town with nothing nearby. Initiatives like Football memories and the Mcdonalds football festival for the kids go a long way to make a ground feel like a home, but maybe more initiatives to make the stadium feel less souless could include getting some keen individuals from the Honours degree course for art & contemporary practices course from the UHI in to give the place a bit of colour! I wouldn't mind putting money to initiatives like that, although wouldn't go anywhere to securing the clubs future in full time football! "Would be the most colourful ground in league 1"........

  3. The question now is, how much rotation before hamilton game? can we affor to rest either allardice or welsh? not been impressed with woods yet personally, personally wouldn't have him in the midfield 'pivot' holding midfielders. Delaney maybe to be rested after his knock just at start of 2nd half?

Well done to Aaron Doran on seemingly changing the game after he came on with the winning of the penalty and the assist for Cammy 👏👏

What about Barry Robson, former player. Obviously depends on how he does as dons interim. But personally think he’d play a less stage 4 style of football and a former player as well

He'd be best candidate out just now for me, his first taste of the big job at aberdeen will give him a brief but good experience of taking charge at another clu, if he kept Esson on as his right hand man or not, he'd have his choice of boys like Tokes who he played with to go in as his number 2, Personally think Esson would be Ideal as he's very highly thought of coaching wise and knonws the youngsters coming through! 🙂

  6. Next Saturday could be a season-defining game for us, if we (somehow) win we'd be on 32 points, 7 off top with raith away then morton and Hamilton to play at home, if these players are coming back like dodds says every week then who knows what could happen. Will take a miracle imo as QP are scoring goals for fun, but there's always hope 🤞🤞

  7. 10 (TEN) Goals in 2 games, I know the teams we've been playing have been dross, but it just shows what we're capable of when out attacking players are fit!! long live Dan MacKay, hope his substitution was only cautionary!! 🤞

Delaney needs to be switched on, with Mackay tracking back and whoever is on the left of the central pairing needs to be ready to cover.

Thought Delaney was excellent with the interceptions vs Cove, sometimes worry that he's always trying to nip in front to win the ball every time, but his recovery pace is great so he looks like being a really good player to have in the team

If the club aims to be promoted, then we can't have a manager who has, for two seasons in a row, overseen substantial non-winning runs.

    It's as simple as that!

Genuinely interested in who people would be happy with as next manager in the summer?

    Graham Alexander?

    Tommy Wright?

    Barry Ferguson?

    Neil McCann??

    Yogi?

Or maybe a left-field option (see Pedro Caixinha....)

First game in a long time for me and was blown away by the commitment and determination from the team. In first 20 we could have scored 2 or 3 - Billy’s hit the post, Lewis Hyde should have scored as well. Defensively we looked very nervous and I include the keeper on that - in particular corners were a major concern.

the difference came when we got the second goal we didn’t sit back we kept pressurising them into mistakes and Cove certainly helped in that department.
Having the spine of the team with so much experience is brilliant - we really need Danny D to marshal the defence and develop these young lads.

Hyde and Welsh give a bit of stability in the centre and with Dan McKay and the loanee winger giving loads of pace, we looked pretty potent going forward.

we’ve deserved a bit of luck and we certainly got it on Saturday.

Thought Hyde grew into the game really well, and Welsh had some important tackles that we've been missing without Allardice! That Henderson ball to Doran for Billy's 3rd goal looked like something De Bruyne could come out with!! Looks a really promising player for sure
