With the current run of 15 games unbeaten and 5 straight clean sheets in the SFL last month I was surprised to see that we have actually had 19 clean sheets this season from the 40 games played:

SFL - 14 (30)

SLCC - 3 (6)

SLCP - 1 (2)

SCP - 1 (2)

TOTAL - 19 (40)

Nearly half the games we have played so far we have not conceded in - not a bad stat indeed. So despite all our moans at various stages throughout the season about our defensive frailty Butcher and Malpas have got them doing something right.

I think Esson is a major factor in that stat but the whole defensive unit deserves praise. Now they just need to keep it up for another 6 games.

It would have been 6 cleansheets if we didn't concede a penalty against Queens.
