I thought Jay Henderson was good when he was with us and I would be happy if he was to sign back on.

I know an ex chairman who once said to me the aim for these part time sides is to be the cream of league one without really making the next step up. Once that happens you need to look at going full time and that’s when it’s not going to be as viable.

Well this is exactly the kind of stance that needs to be taken. My point was our club could spend so much more on stewards and a police presence but ultimately it’s going to do nothing. Our club don’t have the power here. Harsher punishments need to be brought in, if that is matching laws in England and Wales then excellent. Is there a problem down there with this kind of thing? Outside of that banning fans from attending is the next step.

I was at the Partick game last night. 3 goals scored by ex Caley players. Gilmour, Samuel and Chalmers. I was also sat behind Daniel Mackay who’s been injured for almost 2 years and only made a handful of minutes for them. He didn’t even look up from his phone when Partick scored.

The big match today seen hundreds of stewards and a considerable amount of police and yet they couldn’t control it.. If the fans want on the pitch then nothings stopping them.

I tend to agree with this. He might get one or two at best. The rest will likely stay as the cream of the part time players. We used to implement a hybrid, I wonder if we could do similar for any top part timers up this way.

I’ve highly rated 3 of the last 4 palace homes and a couple of the aways have been pretty good. Looking forward to seeing what we get. I know you can’t help it but sometimes it’s the crappy sponsor logo that ruins the design. In this years instance it makes it look a little cheap.

The last time I was at New Bayview there wasn’t even an away end (1998ish). I was at an almost identical stadium (Dumbarton) this season without segregation. If it’s not kicking off when you’re getting pumped 9-0 then I think it would be fine. It would have been easy enough to accommodate any other travelling fans rather than have empty seats. If clubs leave seats empty to spite the old firm then that is also pretty stupid.
