ICT Director steps down

  • Teaser Paragraph:
caledonian_thistleNigel Spiller has stepped down after five years as a director of Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC due to pressure of work following his relocation to the Luton area.

Nigel, originally from Portsmouth, was unanimously re-elected to the Board at the October AGM but has submitted his resignation as his new job has restricted his opportunity to  make the ongoing input he would have wished.

"I've been at this club in stirring times and greatly enjoyed being part of it", he says,"but my work commitments in England make it impossible for me to continue."

Club chairman David Sutherland said:"Nigel was an excellent servant to the club and was particularly involved in the groundshare agreement which took us to Pittodrie and thus secured SPL entry. We appreciate he is not now in a position to continue and we'd like to express our gratitude for his service and wish him all the best in his future.

"We anticipate naming a replacement Board member within 14 days."
