  • Teaser Paragraph:

CC-MotM_thumbCharlie Christie is the Manager of the Month for October.

A win aganst Rangers, an amazing comeback against Falkirk, and a goalless draw with St Mirren meant that Charlie has seen the  team's unbeaten streak stretch to 7 games and he deservedly takes the award.

The SPL have issued the following press release ...

Charlie Christie has been awarded the Bank of Scotland Premierleague Manager of the Month Award for October.

In this short Premierleague month Inverness Caledonian Thistle recorded one of their most famous victories, staged an amazing comeback and extended their unbeaten run to seven matches.

Following their win at Ibrox at the beginning of the month, by a single Graham Bayne goal, Caley Thistle looked a shadow of themselves at home to Falkirk as they faced a two goal deficit. An inspired double substitution by Manager Christie changed the match and a late goal flurry from Craig Dargo & two free-kicks from John Rankin ensured an unthinkable 3-2 victory.

The month ended with a draw at Love Street, which saw the Highland outfit move up to joint 4th place in the Bank of Scotland Premierleague.

The award was voted for by a judging panel from the Scottish Media.
