Marius Niculae to Dinamo Bucharest

We have received information that Inverness Caledonian Thistle have agreed a fee for Romanian International Marius Niculae with Dinamo Bucharest and all that remains is for the dotting of the i's and crossing of the t's before he is revealed at Dinamo Stadium tomorrow morning.

Rumours of his departure have been rife since he was chosen to represent Romania in Euro 2008, but the player has always stated that he enjoyed it here.

Marius was a fans favourite at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium and many will be sad to see him go.  Whilst we may never know the full reason for his sale at a time when we are crying out for an experienced strikeforce, one thing is fairly certain.....it will be a long time before we see someone of his pedigree in an ICT shirt again.

We wish Marius all the best and I for one will be keeping an eye out for him an hoping he's included in the squad leading up to and including the World Cup in 2010.
