ZOO clothing, a popular independently owned retail store have teamed up with Caley Thistle for the opening of their 2nd store in Eastgate shopping centre, Inverness. The new store situated just along from Next will stock a complete range of Caley Thistle merchanise and will give shoppers an alternative for Christmas present buying. Alan Jenkins, ZOO clothing’s proprietor first approached the football club as he recognised many of his existing customers also followed the SPL premier side. "We are very excited to be making our merchandise range available within Eastgate Shopping Centre" commented Commercial Manager Darren Mackintosh. "Our current shop at the stadium is very small and limits what we can display and sell, being part of ZOO’s new outlet will be fantastic, and for supporters who can’t make it down to see us at the stadium this will give them an alternative option". This will be the 2nd store ZOO clothing will have in Eastgate who aim to expand their current range of male branded clothing and footwear. The original shop (opposite Debenhams) will continue to trade but will be re-named ZOO junior offering the same range but aimed at a younger audience. The new shop opens today (Thursday 30th) and will be officially opened by Ian Black & Dougie Imrie who will available for autographs and photo’s in store between 6pm & 7pm tonight. As part of the opening and to celebrate their first anniversary in Eastgate, the shop will be offering a 10% discount on all ZOO clothing till close of business on Sunday.
