  1. We have a new fitness coach, Jason Hastings (Richard's brother).

He has done a bit of fitness training with ICT before and any player I've spoken to has a lot of respect for him.

He has his own personal training company and wealth of knowledge, good choice IMHO.

Hopefully he can generate 11 Don Cowie's on the park  :022:

  2. Excellent result yesterday, but there are some posters who will not be happy until Brewster leaves. I for one have a lot of time for him and have been frankly fed up by the about of negative and personal posts against him. Yes we have had a poor spell, but also a great spell over Christmas. I have not heard anyone suggest a better manager (IMHO) who could take his place and stay (he has been given a second chance by ICT and I think he will reward the club with some loyalty).

  3. In Goal....

As he's a local lad, I have a lot of patience with Ike in goals, and would only want to see an exceptional keeper to take his place. Despite not having a clean sheet for a while, I think he's holding his own since taking over from the bench-warmer a 'Tic.

    Defence....

Proctor should be in the starting line up, each week. McGuire has been a liability recently. We also need another couple of defenders to take over if they are not pulling their weight or are suspended/injured.

    Midfield....

Zander should be given a good chance on the wing. Pretty happy with Cowie, Black (on the field) & Duncan. Marcus, Imrie are hot and cold. I'm not a big fan of McBain, but he has been on good form for the last couple of games. If we buy, it needs to be quality e.g. a creative player out of favour at another club or an outstanding player from a lower division.

    Forwards....

I never know what to expect up front each week. Marius is class, Bayne and Dennis have something to prove, I can't recall seeing Rory playing particularly well in the SPL. One thing that would help them all is decent delivery from the wings........that has to be priority 1 for the close season.

    Fans....

Get behind Brewster, we all want the same thing, ICT success!

    Summer Break....

We have conceded too many late goals this season; a tough fitness regime and team building is called for in the summer months...Bonnes Vacances Les Joueurs  :004:

  4. I was speaking to a player earlier today and he told me a lot of the players are pi55ed of with Blackie and the chip on his shoulder.

They want him to kiss and make up or sod off.

  5.                                         Fraser

Tokley©    Proctor    Watt ( although I'm sure it will be McGuire  :008: )      Hastings

Hart            Cowie      Black (if he grows up)    Cowie

                      Niculae    Bayne

  6. McGuire, despite a decent start to the season has been a liability in too many games since. I would prefer Proctor in his place.

Hastings has been as good as any of our defenders this season. I think mentioning him in a GTF thread is out of order  :33:

Imrie has moved to a higher devision and should be given time to develop.

  7. IcyTea...none of them were hero's today...i don't understand how they are all getting so much credit FOR TRYING!! It should be like that every week!  They didn't even win! It was an improvement but they don't deserve so much praise!

Agree it should be like that every week, but you have to give credit where credit is due. They worked there a55es off today, and deserve praise, just as they deserved criticism for below par performances.

  8. He should reward one of the heros from today's match, rather than handing it to Blackie for yet another one of his tantrums, IMHO Rosscoe should get the captaincy. I think it is up to Black to prove his commitment to the club, he certainly didn't show it from the stand today.

As for Denzil, it's a tough one, why not Bayne, what has he done wrong?

  9. Devistated by the final outcome of the match, thought we deserved something out of it.

Brewster, and the rest of the team were let down by Duncan's behaviour, which was a shame because he had a very good first half.

Although I found some of the Dougie McDonald's decisions ludicrous (including 4 minutes extra time) when will footballers learn from rugby counterparts and show some respect towards referees and the rules of the game. The captain should lead by example, Grant Munro  :018:

    Positives from the game....

Tokley what a vintage performance playing out of position.

    Marius, superb.

Cowie, big improvement, after a bit of a lull.

I will be able to tell my grandchildren that I was at a match where Russell Duncan and Roy McBain scored  :023:

  10.                       Fraser

    Tokley    Proctor    Munro    Hastings

Cowie    Duncan    Black (after a miraculous kiss an make up with Brew)    Sutherland (oops...dream team) Imrie

                  Niculae    Bayne

  11. feck feck feck!!!

We seem to be hitting self distruct  :019:

If the players and management have any passion for the club they should be fighting together instead of against each other.

It REALLY pi55es me off to hear stories like this.

What has changed since Brew and Niculae were voted best in December, surely it can't be down to Rankin leaving.

  12. It's easter and we need a miracle!!

Manager of the month a couple of months ago, how can it have gone so wrong?

The players don't seem to be playing as team, is that their fault, Brew's or both.

The board will want a quick upserge in performances otherwise season tickets for next season will be low.

    Another weekend fecked  :008:

  13. Okay like the club, Russell isn't going through a particularly great spell, but

a wee look at the bigger picture will tell us that he's consistantly been a stalwart

I'm sure players hate being called a stalwart...to me it conjures up an image of a long serving average player with not much skill.

  14. BBC Website.... "He is an exceptional professional and has not let talks affect his displays recently," manager Craig Brewster told the club website. What!!!!! He's been gash since contract talks started, lets hope he finds his pre-Christmas form now that things are signed and sealed.

  15. After a run on inept perfomances by ICT, is not about time we got Zander back from Elgin and give him another shot in the SPL? By all accounts he is playing well there.

I feel we are lacking pace on the wings for example, anytime McBain gets the ball he never attacks the full back, instead he invariably feeds it back to Hastings who punts it up the park.  :020:

I thought Imrie made a difference with his pace when he came on aginst Falkirk, why not give Zander a chance?
