  1. Great stuff today, looking forward to next season already. Let's hope we can keep most of the squad together and keep moving forward .

Special mention to the on loan players who unlike last season, really looked like they enjoyed playing up here and whose contribution was invaluable.

  2. That's the disappointing thing, is our inability to change  the way we do things. We continually passed the ball around never really believing we would score, but just kept doing it anyway.

Maybe sometimes we need to believe it's not going to be our day and settle for the point, which at this stage is better than none. But today we left ourselves totally exposed at the back, searching for a goal that was never going to come.

That said it was just awful.

Some of our fans really need to give their head a shake. Talk of 'we should have been doing this' or 'should be doing that' or 'our manager is tactically unaware'. Are you living in the real world?

Read Roberts post above. We were dead and buried in October due to a truly inept manager the 15 point deduction no money and a variety of associated factors.

The very fact we've managed to claw ourselves back to a position on the park where we even have hope at surviving in this league is a near miracle. Yet we have fans wanting to turn on those same coaches and players who have achieved that. Seriously?

Some of the vitriol being spewed across social media is disgusting and a lot of it coming from so called diehard fans.

    Shameful.

Typical over the top and loud reaction to fans who are just posting their own points of view.

After all this is not what football is all about the highs of Tuesday and the very lows of Saturday. Of course supporters are going to be gutted that was a f***ing sore one,not helped by the way Annan conducted themselves.

  4. What an opportunity to close the gap on fourth place with a win . No where near good enough to lose at home to a really poor team, let's be honest they offered next to nothing.

However, we just plodded on more out of hope than expectation. The changes we made were ineffective and far to late. Appreciate the bench was young but IMO they deserve a chance when things are going not to plan, not just  the last 5 minutes   Possibly some of the more senior players need a wee kick up the arse, get their hunger and desire back.

  5. That was a hard watch, although we definitely did not deserve to lose, 2 points dropped.

Plus points for me, were Remy and Keith Bray who will be a massive loss next year. Disappointed to see Bavidge shunted to wide left ,he's so less effective than when going through the middle.

  6. What  the f***k was going on with QOS they were not interested in playing football at all.

Tried to intimidate the young guys at every opportunity, with a weak accomplice of a referee. The cart horse no 11 was one or the worst culprits, who was just embarrassingly bad at football.

Positives for us, was we stuck at it and never got sucked down to there level

All good ,but special mention to Gilmour and Savage who never missed a challenge all day.

  7. Get what you are saying, but rightly so, fans have a right to be angry. OK maybe some have gone over the top, but that was 4 going on 5 or 6 today.

FFS we were completely battered at home by Cove, a team we completely dominated only a matter of weeks ago in the last league fixture.

  8. Fans turned up, pity the players did not.

Seen some really good performances in the last couple weeks at Cove ,Montrose and Stenhousemuir but that was just woeful.

Feeble defending set the tone for a terrible afternoon in a game we were never in.

Hope it's just a bad day, but said that after Arbroath turned us over a couple of weeks ago.

  9. Honestly it's been a while since I had that feel good factor after the full time whistle.

Agreed we did work hard to get back in it after half time, but the game was won due to us playing some really good adventurous passing football.  No hitting it aimlessly long in desperation.

To be honest we battered Montrose, and the possession stats do not reflect the game.

Highlight for me, Gardyne baiting the supporters at 2 nil up, then sprinting down the tunnel at full time, head down refusing to look up at the stand.

By f ***k the guy fairly shifted off that pitch.

  10. The second half was definitely the best I have seen from us in a long long time. Positive going forward with the belief to shoot from distance

Quite ironic really that  the two young guys who scored  would probably be nowhere near the starting 11 if the plans for  Kelty had been forced through.

Both would be out on loan ,replaced by some ageing central belt duffers who couldn't get a game anywhere elsewhere and who just turned up on a Saturday.

  11. Seemed to be a total change in mindset today, both on and off the park.

A lot of good performances this afternoon, in particular Jake Davidson was a standout when he went to full back.

Came away feeling entertained but  disappointed that we dropped 2 valuable points after dominating the game.

Comfortable win in the end not helped by a dreadful referee who denied uz 2, probably 3 stonewall penalties similar to the Stenhousemuir fame. We're certainly not getting any breaks from the referees just now.

Players gave their all today, just a huge pity more of our so called fans couldn't be bothered to get off their arses to comexabd support the club.

Absolutely agree, the residents of Inverness really do not give a f***k if they have a senior team or not. Thought with everything going on this week, many more would make the effort, sadly not.

No wonder the investors are not queuing up, with such apathy around the city.

Good performances from many today, thought Bray stuck to his defensive duties well and Remy improves every week.

That is accurate but your previous comment wasn't.

Sorry for the inaccuracies, please accept my humblest of apologies.

But in my book over hit crosses should not be classed as attempts on goal.

Moving swiftly on, thought Gilmour showed a lot more when the shackles came off in the second 45. He is hopefully over last year's injuries as we need him to stay fully fit to kick start our season.

  14. Stating the obvious but 2 points from 9 is worrying, even at this early stage.

Need to braver in possession, first half was awful again no urgency. One shot from McKay in 45 mins was about it. Them getting a red had a huge bearing on the second half , basically gifted us back in it.

  15. Thought the first 45minutes we got forward and moved the ball quickly through Duffy and Bray out in the wide areas. Unfortunately with Billy now playing just in front of Devine,we only had Brookes up front. Ferguson really needs to re think how to get the best out of Billy McKay

Second half we either seemed to  run out of steam or worse  run out of ideas.

  16. Duncan Ferguson should have done the right thing and resigned after the Hamilton debacle. No pay offs , severance pay, nothing.

He should have held his hand up and admitted his failings when trying to build a team out of lower level loanees. This was an absolutely awful experiment doomed to failure and the financial repercussions are now coming home to roost.

We have lost a whole season of developing young players the likes of Bray, Hyde etc for what..... Relegation.

FFS I know we lost Deas and Allardice but the nucleus of a capable squad was still there.

Capable enough to avoid relegation anyway.
