  1. Duncan Ferguson should have done the right thing and resigned after the Hamilton debacle. No pay offs , severance pay, nothing.

He should have held his hand up and admitted his failings when trying to build a team out of lower level loanees. This was an absolutely awful experiment doomed to failure and the financial repercussions are now coming home to roost.

We have lost a whole season of developing young players the likes of Bray, Hyde etc for what..... Relegation.

FFS I know we lost Deas and Allardice but the nucleus of a capable squad was still there.

Capable enough to avoid relegation anyway.

  2. Logistically and financially this can't add up.

Whatever players are left after all the other central belt teams have had their first pick, are they honestly gonna be improve on what we have had over the last 5 years or so.

We need to develop our own players and to say this is proving difficult is bullshit. It was only a couple of seasons ago that we had 4 called up for the Scotland U21s.

The talent is up here if the management could be arsed to develop it and not take the lazy route of 9 loanees on the pitch  at any one time.

I'm no financial whizz but, would anyone benefit,  money wise from the club going bust? Are any club assets there to be stripped?

My thoughts exactly, just seems to bizarre to be just a footballing decision. Has to be more to this than we are being told.

Wonder if Kelty Hearts have released a statement yet.

  4. The reason we are where are is nothing to do with players not wanting to re locate , housing etc it's down to abysmal football tactics and even worse off field management. All this talk of central belt players is just a smokescreen, to mask their incompetencies

This **** show has to stop now.

  5. This looks very like a f***k you decision made by Morrison and all his cronies. This is not a football decision there must be more to it than that.

Scandalous they can even contemplate that this idea

No more Ryan Christie's , Polworths, Hastings etc only the dregs of the central belt.

  6. Cannot fathom the complete apathy to winning football matches by the players and management. Absolutely no idea what formation we were playing and who is meant to be supporting Samuel up front. The only time McKay got in the box he scored, the rest of the time he was playing 2 yard sideways passes on the half way line.

Really struggled to pick a standout today, only the sunshine made it bearable.

  7. IMO we were not adventurous enough going forward. We were clearly better than most teams but were happy to knock the ball about, until ultimately the game just fizzled out to nothing.

No standout player either who could raise the game or the supporters, we kinda just plodded on regardless.

  8. Result didn't match the performance but more worrying is we finished the game with 8 loan players on the pitch. Of the the 3 left 2 were over 30.  Basically we are going to completely have to rebuild from scratch, maybe need to sign ten or more players in the summer and get them to gel in probably less than six weeks.

  9. That had to be the most torturous 90 minutes ever yesterday. Thank f*** Ayr where more concerned on going down and time wasting or it could have 4 or 5.

After being gifted a way back into the match we still couldn't kick on and the lack of desire or effort to win the game is scandalous. Where is Ferguson's much celebrated will to win, I see no evidence.

  10. What is with Austin Samuels never getting a kick, surely we have try out all our options, because at the moment we ain't gonna scoring.

Solid at the back, but absolutely no creativity going forward.

  11. Not a great penalty has to be said. Although to be fair it was gifted to us.

Thought last night the only way we were likely to score would be a set piece, but on second look even Devine's hatrick of headers were miles off.

We are in a real dog fight with a bunch of loanees who will be leaving in April. Will they go toe to toe against Morton, will they scrap for everything against a rejuvenated Queens, will they have the guile and wit to take points off Raith. Some have never experienced proper adults football. It looks more like our management team have totally underestimated this league.

The bunch of loanees were the standouts tonight. Not sure where your thinking comes from to question their commitment. Cammy Kerr easily the best player on the park tonight
