Hearing some of young players been e mailed with offer of contract.

I should think it would be up to the manager to decide who he wants to keep, and I expect he should be speaking to them face to face instead of sending an email! Maybe Ferguson has been replaced with an AI manager, in Gardiner's last 'big idea' to save the club!!

Another great podcast.  If we do get a rescue, hopefully the incoming group is willing to work with Wyness Shuffle, Supporters Trust, Travel Club, CTO etc. and not against as there's no negatives, and only positives (unless you're charlatans like Crook and Gardiner, or have something to hide like the accounts - "if you've nothing to hide, hide nothing" as the man said)

Anyway - very interesting what Ridgers said about how much the supporters (not only in stadium but on social media) influence the players.

All the more reason for the executives to facilitate multiple ways to build affinity and connection between the city and fans and the club - not just for the fans, but for the players, results and ongoing success!

Absolutely! If the club survives then there simply must be fan representation on any new board, otherwise nothing changes and the secret society continues!

He's on holiday, due back this week. I have a feeling he will resign.

If he has any dignity, he will. What a complete waste of money he's turned out to be. Our performances in the playoffs should've been enough for him to walk!

Has anyone considered that this Kelty move is probably a tempoprary thing to give the club some breathng space. I totally understand the level of anger but if it came down to it i would take Gardiner out over the Kelty move. His presence is clearly damaging relations.

I actually think the move has been dreamt up by Gardiner because he knows how so deeply unpopular he is in Inverness now, that moving the football operations to Kelty means he no longer has to be present in Inverness and run the gauntlet of the coming into contact with the locals!

I wouldn't be surprised if he's manipulated the figures to show the board a much greater saving than will actually be achieved in order to push the deal through. It's a win win for him!

  5. Couple of things:

It seems obvious now that the chairman is only here to try and recoup most of the £1m+ funds he's put in to the club. There is only one asset left to strip and that's the lease of the land the stadium sits on. Is, ultimately, putting the lease up for sale the last action of a man who says he wants the best for the club?

The club's board have, literally, moved the goalposts on giving the Supporters Trust a seat on said board, making it nigh on impossible now. If they really have the interests of the club at heart, why would they do this? They are behaving like it's a private members club, like a secret society! ICT is not theirs, it belongs to the community - its fans!

Just so folk have some context to this the planning application was officially refused on or around 14 March 2024. Section 6 of the Guide to Planning Appeals in Scotland states that the limit for appealing is three months from the date of the decision. Looking at the DPEA website shows a total of six appeals, since the battery form decision, within the Highland Council area. Only three of them are a Planning Permission Appeal (PPA) and they are located in Farr or Drumnadrochit.

So this means that no planning appeal has been submitted for the BESS (yet!) and they have something like 17 days to get one in.

I could be totally wrong but I think they have 3 months from the date on the refusal notice, and it was dated 11th April, so that would give them until 11th July to get their appeal in?

Sounds like we should be building a hotel at the stadium!

    ClubNews-copy.png.d553dfef92790a2ef879b4a4977ae81e.png

The Club is delighted to announce that our esteemed CEO is in the process of implementing his latest innovative business proposal for ICT.

ICTFC considers itself very fortunate to have an individual of Scot's talent at the helm and is, again, in awe of his imagination at dreaming up these excellent business ventures. We simply have no clue where he gets these ideas from!

With our imminent moving of football operations to Kelty, this leaves the stadium of little use to the club except on 'home' match days. Therefore, and without delay, the bulldozers will be moving in to clear the site in readiness for constructing the brand new CLUB HOTEL. It will be called the Gardiner Scot Hotel (very) Ltd. and be the latest addition to this exciting new hotel brand, consisting of . . . . ehm just this one.

Not only will the hotel be open for business to the tourist trade, it will also accommodate our own players on 'home' matchdays! The good news is that this could save the club up to £90 per player per night!!!! Strict security measures will be in place to guard the players privacy and ensure they do not come into any contact with the general public of Inverness. We can also exclusively reveal that our CEO has been in lengthy dialogue with Rangers FC and struck a deal that will see them having full use of the hotel on their visits north to play our (formerly local) rivals Ross County. Scot is staunchly proud of striking this deal, and when it concluded he loudly proclaimed "I Am The Person!!" and punched the air!

Of course we remain slightly committed to playing some of our matches in Inverness, and these will now take place at the Bught Stadium - depending on its availability!

We trust our valued supporters will be overjoyed with this news.

Assuring you of our full attention at all times, ICTFC.

  8. I hear you, but my hope is that the club might be forced into action given the strength of feeling of its fans.

The ceo has already contributed to a decline in the club’s revenue, through creating ill will towards the club amongst the local business community, and his latest proposal is likely to  exacerbate that!

Pretty embarrassing stuff from our fans if they are planning on staying away all together.

Not a decision I've taken lightly, having had a season ticket for 20+ years.

I'm embarrassed at the way the club is being run and the only way I feel I can protest is by not renewing my tickets.

I'll be back when the ceo and management are away.

After today's event I'm consoling myself in the fact that no matter how bad things get at Inverness, at least I'm not a c#unty fan!

  11. Coincidentally I was reading this article earlier today https://www.ambaile.org.uk/asset/53128/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR0lxtizFuIMnKVxwiFyQDOGlfzTNV3IBxvfo3KqKY9PkmfJrQz6t25CbbQ_aem_AUnk5-1u-UFHr_6xhvNtVuwTCPauw9ACkJKIezMku577dU2zkf1GlphRcv6YC1VWRUoIdSETKhyeEF0yw5_fZrid

50 years ago Thistle were wrongly refused entry to the Scottish league, with the reason given that Inverness was too far to travel for visiting clubs! The position given to Ferranti instead, a club thst didn't even meet the entry requirements!

Today our own board have taken the club back 50 years!  Inverness is officially too far to travel to again!

    Beggars belief. :slapme:

We’ve clearly already signed a contract with Kelty, so even if the decision somehow gets reversed I presume we’d still have to pay for their facilities for however many years we got commitment for.

Is the only way out administration?

Might be best that it happens now so that there's a clear out of the boardroom? Then the rumoured Savage/MacGillivray potential investment can come in afterwards and resurrect the club?🤞

  13. I'm actually in a state of shock over this. It's screams of a desperate CEO trying to save his job!

If a player doesn't want to commit to Inverness, then I don't want that player at the club anyway! I've had enough this season of players who aren't committed to the club and who didn't give a f##k about being relegated.

All this will do is entice half-arsed players, who can't get signed elsewhere, to turn out for Inverness and steal a wage because training at Kelty is convenient for them!!

TBH I think that's me decided - I'll not be renewing my ticket for next season! They've killed the club!

  14. The chairman writes of 'unity' and 'continued and valued support', yet the club constantly conducts itself in a secretive manner and withholds simple information, such as JR's gardening leave - which we later find out about anyway via an Edinburgh news article!?!

What is shocking in every action/inaction/decisions the club takes is the complete disdain it has for its own fans! We're mugs!!

  15. I don't think the club have had a plan for years. We reached the pinnacle of winning the Scottish Cup, playing in Europe, our highest league position, and since then the club has been completely rudderless! Time for a whole new regime methinks?

  16. A lot will very much depend on how we start the game on Saturday. We can't afford to start in the same manner we have the last two home games. If we do we'll likely concede and it's game over. What will Ferguson do though ? :ponder:
