  1. I have never seen so much negativity over a manager's appointment at Inverness CT. I wasnt totally sure about his appointment but im more than willing to give him a chance. IMO if he is good enough for Scotland he must be good enough for us. Hopefully a new face will get the players fired up and out to impress.

The situation he was in at Motherwell was terrible and he came out of that not too bad!

  2. It wasnt exactly a whim this whole "brewster out" thing, we have never been in this position before as a club (facing relegation) and it didn't look like it was going to change with him in charge, sometimes thats just the way things go in football. What i personally dont want is for us to go down the same road again with Robbo, yes he was succesfull here but i am totally against going for an ex manager regardless of their reason for leaving.

  3. I really dont want to see us go for someone who has already been here regardless of how succesfull they were, we did it with Craig Brewster and it went horribly wrong, i would rather see a fresh start...but we need somone ASAP were not in a position for messing about now

  4. If i was the manager i would find it hard to play someone who has signed a contract with another club and knows where they're future lies, i dont think i would be 100% sure they are totally committed on the pitch. I can't attend many games and i've not got any inside information about the situation. But thats just my view on it if i was in that situation.

On the other hand if its true what has been said about Black's attitude towards the fans (kicking the ball at them etc) and that he wasn't making much effort in warming up then i cant see why he would act any different in training, that to me sounds like someone who isn't interested in staying where he is at the moment and his head is now at Hearts.

When I've given in my notice in my job that I'm moving somewhere else, I still put in the work where I am. In fact, I'd be grossly insulted if someone told me they couldn't trust me to do something properly because of something happening in the future.

And yep Dods was exactly the same case. He played for over a season knowing he was going.

I know what you mean and i've probably worded it wrong but in this situation it could be seen that Black wont put in 110% to save the club from the drop because he knows that he will still be playing in the SPL next year. Im not saying that is what is happening but im using it as an example.

  6. I personally didnt think agree with appointing him as manager again.

BUT at the end of the day we are all ICT fans and we need to get behind the team, i would love to see Craig Brewster make something happen with us and hopefully a win tonight regardless of the fact we are playing Arbroath could be the thing we need!

  7. To be fair to Michael Fraser, he was thrown in the deep end when Mark Brown left, every week you were 99.9% guaranteed Brown would be starting. Fraser never had any experience playing SPL football at all until recently and id say he hasnt done too bad considering the shape our defence is in at the moment!

Another point is what about Ally Ridgers, he has sat on the bench for years....is he that bad?

  8. it was the same when we were trying to get into the SPL he was 100% against it claiming that because we didnt have a suitable stadium we shouldnt be allowed into the league and to even think of using sacred Pittodrie was awfull.

I laugh at the excuses he comes up with daily for AFC he like alot of aberdeen fans iv come across are still in the 80's including fans who werent even walking at that point, they still think that aberdeen should be playing Real Madrid in a european final  :017:

  9. In todays evening express stewart mckimmie has said Inverness are "boring, play negative football etc etc" he also basically says we dont deserve to be where we are in the league and that since we are fighting for 2nd that the SPL is a joke.

Why does this guy always critisize Inverness? and has he had a look at his own team, Langfield had a very hard time kicking the ball onto the field last night, i suppose they are worthy of 2nd place are they?

IMO both teams were as bad as each other last night, it wasn't a great game, but i think most people will agree that Inverness deserve to be where they are in the League!
