  1. There was a delay in getting the prices as they were considering an end of season discounted game when I spoke to them on Friday. Obviously decided to stick with normal league prices though.

Highland Marchers will do a lap on the pitch before kick off, so make sure you arrive nice and early to give them your support before they head up the road.

  2. I have just had a look at the numbers for next Monday and it is well on the way to selling out. If you haven't booked, but would like to attend, please do so as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

If you have booked already, you should receive a confirmation e-mail in the very near future

  3. Tonight I attended the above event at the stadium with a number of others from the Supporters Trust. James Proctor who works for the SFA held a fans workshop to look at the good and bad of Scottish football. It was a really interesting evening and great to feel like we have had some input to the future of Scottish football. They hope to put together some kind of Fan's Charter, but instead of starting with a paper and making comments, they have decided to speak to the fans first.

It's a shame that a few more folk, who had been invited to attend, couldn't make it along, but there were enough of us there to contribute to the workshop style evening. I'm particularly disappointed that there was no representative from Ross County as I think it would have opened up some good debate.

Well done to James Proctor and the SFA for taking this event to Inverness and I really hope that our contributions are helpful in some way.

  5. Thank you all so much, I've just came across this thread as I've not been online. Your support means a lot. It was such a shock for all of us, but we do take comfort from the fact that we left him on Monday night and he was in good form and had no pain. The end was very sudden which we believe is a blessing in the long run.

  6. Looking forward to this game tonight. I'm working until 5.30pm, so attending the game isn't an option. I applaud all those who are on their way to Dundee, but if you are not one of the lucky ones, remember you can just turn up at the Social Club tonight. All welcome and it's FREE!!!!!!!!!

See you there, anytime from 7pm

  7. Or a quick phone call would suffice. This game has been on sale for weeks now, so why such a rush to buy tickets on the day. There were a few (not many) turned away without tickets.

The offers did work as I know for a fact that there were people there who would have watched it on the tele, but the offers made it tempting for them and they turned out.

Not sure whether or not ictewd actually is a season ticket holder or not due to the mixed messages, but the offers did help to swell the crowd.

  8. Meanwhile...back on topic.

Anyone going to the game that might not have done without the above offer?

(Yeah, Yeah, Yeah...."Rangers Fans in Home End"....there you go, that's that one covered, so no need for it to be repeated)

Yes is the answer, there have been a few people who would have stayed home and watched on the tele who were tempted with one of the deals which is good. There are still some of the Supporters Trust Offer tickets available though and the ticket office is open from 10am until 3pm tomorrow. Remember as this is an all ticket game you will definitely not be able to buy tickets pre match on Sunday. Tickets will be on sale on Sunday from 9am - 11am ONLY!!!!!!!

  9. Marc has once again touched people's hearts and I have an e-mail at work with an offer of a donation and a little surprise for Marc. I'm not sure if the kind person wishes to be identified or not, so for now I will keep the information confidential. I will work with them to bring this to fruition and let you know more when and if I can

  10. Quite a few teams let us stand now anyway. It's shirley safe enuff to simply state a quarter of the North Stand is reserved for people who wish to stand. Or is that not 'safe standing'? Do these 'safe' seats HAVE to be used?

Yes, the "safe seats" do have to be used. They have to be used because they can be locked away safely when the area is being used for standing and because they incorporate the crush barriers that are needed between each row of people.

What I don't know (yet) is why we could not simply rip seats out and put in Crush Barriers only. We could do that and maintain the 6000 seats needed by the SPL and just not use those areas when we get in to Europe....although a venture in to Europe would surely fund the installation of the safe seats so the area could be used!!! For now however, we have to work on the basis that "safe seats" need to be installed.

As far as I'm aware 1 seat (folded up or otherwise) = 1 space, you would have to buy that space/seat. Spaces would have to be allocated to avoid overcrowding. I believe it could be done and possibly the West Stand would be the best option, however if you are going to move people from existing seats, there would be no increase in revenue for the club so we would need to look at the options to fund this. As Don says the Supporters Trust would be the vehicle to take this forward, so let us know your thoughts and we'll see what can be done.

Sadly the days of the old terracing are gone, but this may be a compromise worth exploring

  11. It will never happen that the police would allow visiting fans in the North stand........................not unless, for cup games, the club decided to sell the north stand and half the main stand to the visitors and put the home fans in South.

Don't understand that Alex, what's the difference between the home fans being in the North or South stands, wouldn't make any difference.

  12. I've just been advised that the safety certificate granted when the completion of the works was signed off will not allow away fans to occupy the North Stand. In this regard it is also questionable whether they can occupy the south wing of the Main Stand and the West "Stand". Apparently the club's Hon Secy should be able to confirm this.

    :rules::fingers:

If the home fans don't buy the tickets, then they surely can't have an issue if the club want to look at ways of maximising revenue. I'm certain that the club wouldn't even have thought about using the North Stand for away fans, but now that this has been suggested I wouldn't be surprised if they give it some consideration for next season. I can tell you for sure that they are disappointed with the uptake from the North Stand for the cup game, so this might be something to think about. At the end of the day if the stand is full of ICT fans there will be no room for 'away' fans

  13. Thought we were fantastic today in terrible condidtions, delighted with the win and the clean sheet. I would just like to say a massive thank you to Chairman Kenny Cameron, Vice Chairman Graham Bennett and the under 19 squad who along with the ground staff got the game on. Covers were purchased to protect the park but let me assure you it took a super human effort to take the water off the covers and remove them in time for the game to go ahead. Well done guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
