  1. Course he'll still be on HMS Sneck. So long as he doesn't start asking, "want that one" and "Yeah ano" ;D

Infact that looks like you Yompa in your older days pushing the wheel chair. A new partnership could be born ;)

  2. No they can't actually because my mums in bed :P. If England do make it to the final, don't care how i get there but i will be in front of a big screen somewhere in a English town centre ;D.

I really felt for the Mexico keeper today, hearing the story of how his dad had died a day before making his way over to Germany to watch his son and how one of the Angolan players family was slaughtered in a civil war leaving him to raise his family by himself.

  3. Eh? I've not changed anyones post. When I posted the following...

The only person who will have voted yes is Ross!  :D ;)

...only one person had voted that they would support England. Using my almighty brain I would guess that would have been Ross seeing as up until that point he was the only person to have spoken in a generally positive tone about England on this thread.

    EDIT:

Your post has changed since I started replying. Now I'm confused!  ??? I can assure you that I have changed no ones postings and just said that only one person had voted yes for supporting England which has changed since that comment was originally made.

    We believe you RiG ;)

    What do you think?

    ;) ;D

  4. Ross, when you've been subjected to the BBC hype and the Scottish backlash in equal doses for as long as I have (29 years!!!) yow'll just leave both sides to get on with it. The media will never stop claiming that England are worldbeaters (when they're not) one second, them slating them the next, whilst the Scots will increasingly attach themselves to every other small nation that qualifies for the finals, in the knowledge that it could easily be a generation before Scotland qualify again.

If said it before, but you've only to look at the population stats (falling birthrate, increasing obesity, increasing addiction to alcohol and other 'substances', selling off of parklands etc etc) to recognise that whilst other so-called smaller nations are getting better, Scotland are going backwards.

And whilst I'm at, England will be in the same boat by 2020 if they keep letting foreigners into the Premiership at the current rate...  >:(

So what way did you vote then :P ;)

  5. Slightly suspicious that they haven't posted to this thread though isn't it?

It reminds me of when Robbo left and someONE voted for Duncan Shearer about two thousand times on the "Who should replace him" poll  ;D

Well you'll just have to ask one of the moderators to take a look at the IP address of the second vote, is it because you feel betrayed one of your fellow Scots actually considers supporting England that you think i voted twice ;) :D :)

  6. Have to say the ref in the England game yesterday was disgraceful, in both halves to both teams >:(.
Yeah - sure he wont be getting any Christmas cards from Crouch !!! Also thought the ref in the Sweden / T&T game wasnt very good. They have obviously been told to crack down on a long list of minor infractions but it appears that play-acting and diving are not on the list.

I noticed that as well. They are bringing out the yellow cards for little sily tackles but still nothing is being done about the old simulation >:(. Although i thought it was class yesterday when Hislop Was taking ages to take a goal kick by time wasting. All the sweden fans booing him, so the ref decides to run 3/4's of the way down the pitch to tell him to hurry up and run back again wasting another minute or so. ;D
