  2. I think the majority are in agreement that a new manager is needed for next season. Given where we find ourselves this season and just how poor we have been i think the club has no choice but to look for a new manager for next season. Some fans are saying Hartley, A few are saying bring back Butcher but the big question is,  Who would give us the best chance of going straight back up in our first season. I would like to see a new manager  but out of all our former managers i would not be against John Robertson making a return. I thought we were pretty decent under him. So who is the one that would give us best chance of promotion next season ?

  3. The one thing i find most frustrating this season especially of late is when you listen to other spl managers, Commentators and various other media all are saying we are underachieving. Our team in my opinion without a doubt has been in slow decline for a few seasons now. We have lost some real quality players over the last few seasons. I accept that a club of our size is going to struggle to keep quality players when i say that i mean spl quality players. However when you look at the current team there is still a lot of good players that should have been able to put in far better performances over the season than they have done. Management is where we have been let down this season. Some of the performances that i have watched this season is beyond dire. I said a few times this season you could put Lionel Messi in this team and he would struggle to get a goal.  We are a small club that has done some remarkable things over its history. There are many bigger clubs with bigger budgets than ours that have achieved less. Now the Championship is in front of us next season. I know we are not relegated yet but i cant see any hope of us staying up. One of the biggest challenges now lies ahead of us. I think we need to make a big promotion push next season and try and get straight back up. In order to do that we need a new person at the helm to steady the ship and in time get it to make smooth headway. We also need to be very shrewd in the transfer market especially with loans. If we could get some quality loans and make a signing or 2 along the way i think we have a chance of getting of getting back at the first attempt.

Foran ain't going anywhere, say what you want about Richie but he ain't no quitter

I reckon he's already been told that he will be leading the team in the championship next season and that he probably knew before taking this job that relegation was a distinct possibility at the start of this campaign

A lot of folk were seething about the way Hughes left but I think Yogi had a good idea what was coming

There is no way Richie will be in charge next season. If he was i would dread to see the amount of season tickets sales that would be lost.

Raging. Here it is on the line: I will not be going back to TCS until our amateur manager is punted. Nor will I renew my season ticket. Time after time this season he's selected bizarre lineups and left decent players on the bench nd hor out of position. We have looked a total shambles organisation-wise for months with an unbelievable array of "formations". No wonder the players look confused! Remind me how many games we've won with Draper, Tansey and Vigurs across the midfield...none. The only time we've looked anywhere near half decent was with Polworth in the hole, Draper and Tansey holding and with pace out wide. And yet you can count on one hand how many times we've used that formation. What about Fisher? All that time we were struggling for a striker and he never got a look in? He's looked half decent whenever I've seen him. Sticking with the likes of Vigurs and Warren regardless of form has killed us and that is all down to Foran.

Gutless board at ITCFC - are you listening? People will lose their jobs either way, but I'd prefer it to be Foran than hardworking backroom staff.

I have heard from a lot of people that they will not be renewing their season ticket next season if things don,t change. With relegation looking nailed on and the prospect of losing season tickets  the club could be hitting a serious reduction in funds. Worrying times ahead i fear especially if we don,t get someone with a proven managerial record at the helm.

  6. Get someone to take over the management of the team until the end of the season and re-evaluate at the end of the season. Richie has had his chance but for some reason its has not worked with his record simply abysmal. He needs to go now for the clubs sake and for his own also. I just cant see any logical reason to carry on when it could not be any clearer that it is just not working. A fresh face for last 5 games even if its from someone within the club. It might just give us that spark that has just not been there for such a long time.

  7. Lets say the Board resign which i cant see happening does anyone know who might be interested in taking over our club ?  The state this football club is in funds are going to be critical in order to rebuild. When you look at the current first team players there is not many i would keep for our push for promotion next season.  Hate to say it but this club needs a complete overhaul from top to bottom.

  8. Seriously grim, Its that bad that bringing back Brewster would be better even with  his record second time around. We need to take action now.

    Manager History

Manager                         Start Date    -  End Date             Record

    Richie Foran                 30 May 2016 - Present            Won: 5, Drawn: 12, Lost: 17

    John Hughes                04 Dec 2013 - 20 May 2016    Won: 47, Drawn: 33, Lost: 40

    Terry Butcher                27 Jan 2009 - 11 Nov 2013     Won: 86, Drawn: 57, Lost: 65

    Craig Brewster              27 Aug 2007 - 19 Jan 2009     Won: 22, Drawn: 7, Lost: 35

    Charlie Christie             13 Jan 2006 - 26 Aug 2007     Won: 24, Drawn: 18, Lost: 25

    Craig Brewster              25 Nov 2004 - 13 Jan 2006     Won: 17, Drawn: 18, Lost: 15

    John Robertson            26 Dec 2002 - 03 Nov 2004     Won: 44, Drawn: 13, Lost: 27

    Steve Paterson             01 Aug 1995 - 01 Dec 2002     Won: 147, Drawn: 92, Lost: 90

  9.  The Board need to take action and at the very least make a club statement on Monday. The fans are the most important piece of any football club  and i think they now more than ever deserve answers. The fans have been very patient with Richie but it is very clear it has not worked and he needs to go. If this was a bigger club the pressure from fans would have had Richie gone a long time ago. We need an experienced manager in until the end of the season just to give us a glimmer of hope and i think we all deserve that. Yes the board made a mistake by giving Richie such a long contract but if Richie does not walk the board themselves  should dig deep to show they have this club and its future as no.1 priority.

  10. He has had his chance and sadly it has been a complete failure. No sign of a win and we need to win a few now with the position we are in. No point in sticking with Richie as i have no confidence in him being able to  get us back up next season in fact i fear we could end up in St Mirrens position. No way i am going to renew my season ticket with the football that has been on show this season. The board have to act now and sorry Richie I cant see you being in the Inverness dugout again well not in a managers role.

  11. 100% doomed unless action is taken now. No fight, No urgency, No Flair, utter rubbish. Richie to go or step down as manager. Try and get someone in for last 6 games to try and get some drive back. Dont even know who could come in for short term only name thats comes to my mind is Alex Neil but even he would probably run a mile

  12.                                          FON WILLIAMS

    LAING WARREN MCCART RAVEN

    TANSEY MCNAUGHTON DRAPER

    MULRANEY MACKAY COLE

433 FOR ME. 3 DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDERS WITH 3 PLAYERS RIGHT UP TOP

  13. For the first time in a very long time we played some good football, Looked like we could score, Attacked in numbers. Lots of positives to take from Yesterday. I hope we keep 2 up top at least for the rest of the season and take the game to whoever we are playing. The one thing i can see us lacking now is a big strong tall central defender. Richie was saying there is still money available for players so i hope he goes on the hunt for a commanding defender who is a free agent

  14. I would have no problem keeping Richie in the current position we find ourselves in if we were dominating games, Getting hit on the counter etc but we are playing the worst football i think i have ever seen us play. I from memory actually believe we are a good bit worse now than when Brewster was sacked. There is just nothing absolutely nothing that i can see positive in the way were are playing now. Sorry Richie great loyal servant to the club but this morning you should without a doubt walk from your position as manager.   Give the club a chance to survive in the SPL where it belongs

  15. Woeful is my sum up of this game. I went to the game full of optimism that we would see ICT having a right go at Partick oh how wrong i was. No where near enough attacking. We dont seem to be able to attack as a unit. Their is never an out ball up front and most of the time just no one up there well 1 striker. We could play for the rest of the year on today's performance and not score. We need to start attacking and take the game to teams. Also attack with pace as currently a snail would attack quicker. I just hope we get stuck in against Hamilton and take the game to them from the off and just keep attacking.
